I pursed my lips and nodded with a smile.

Maybe this was my true emotion. I was really happy from the bottom of my heart that I could get pregnant again.

"That's great. Your efforts will pay off. After having your own children, your family will finally be complete, and I don't have to worry so much about you in the future," she said. Freya breathed a sigh of relief as if the burden in her heart had been removed. Suddenly, she seemed to recall something. She reached out her hand and patted Zachary's lap. She said, "Hendrix is so busy with his career. Why don't we accompany Arianna to her appointments?"

I was about to refuse her suggestion. However, Zachary said first, with some hesitation, "Initially, there was no problem. However, the Economics scholars in Jarold City will be having an exchange project. From tomorrow on wards, I have to attend it every single day."

Freya was not in a good mood upon hearing this. She then asked sarcastically, "Why didn't you mention it before?" "They just announced it yesterday," Zachary explained. "The project in Jewels Area will last for a month. I was still considering it. However, after seeing Mr. Roberts working so hard, I thought I should emulate him, so I agreed to join the project," he said.

Freya did not like that, and her face turned solemn. She continued saying, "You only have two months of holiday this year, and now you want to attend an exchange project for a month. Have you forgotten that you still have a wife and child?"

Zachary gave a dry laugh and leaned closer to her placatingly. He reached out to wrap his arm around her shoulders and said tentatively, "I've also signed you up. Let's go together. We can ask my parents to take care of Oliver. In this case, I can still spend some time with you."

"Just forget it," Freya said. She dodged him and moved to the other side. "I don't want to attend those exchange projects during this new year. You can enjoy yourself. I'll accompany Arianna to the hospital," she said.

Zachary gave another forced laugh and looked at her with a doting gaze. He was extremely patient.

The two of them seemed to bicker all the time. However, in reality, neither of them could leave the other. Even though Freya mentioned that she did not want to keep Zachary company, she still found an excuse to return home and enjoy their remaining time together before he had to attend the exchange project.

As I'd gotten up early in the morning, I soon felt tired and went upstairs to have a rest.

It was already seven o'clock when I woke up.

Anne was playing with her toys in the living room. When I went downstairs, she jumped towards me and said, "Mom, you slept for a long time. You're a lazy pig!"

"If your mom is a lazy pig, then Anne is a lazy little piglet!" I joked. I picked her up and teased her while walking to the dining area. "Madam Parker, has Hendrix come back?" I asked.

Minnie was coming from the kitchen. She wiped her hands on her apron and replied, "No, Madam. Do you want to give him a call? Dinner is ready. We can start dinner as soon as he comes back." "Alright, I see," I replied.

After putting Anne down so she could continue playing, I dialed Hendrix's phone number.

He answered the phone call in a short while. He asked, "What's wrong?"

"Are you coming home soon?" I asked.

"I'm still at the company. I probably won't be able to go back in time for dinner, so you don't have to wait for me," Hendrix said.

"You haven't settled the tasks regarding GW Group?" I asked.

"We've come to a compromise, but I'm still not satisfied. I'm not dealing with this now. As I will be back to work tomorrow, there are pending projects, and I have to deal with some of them today. Otherwise, I won't have time to accompany you to the hospital tomorrow," he replied.

I knew that Hendrix would be very busy when he returned to the company. However, I didn't expect that he would be that occupied. "Freya said that she will go with me. You don't have to accompany me every day. The company is expanding now, and it really needs you. So don't push yourself," I said.
