I still remembered the day when lan got his Psychologist Qualification Certificate vividly. No one could relate such a sunny and heroic young man from that day to the disheveled man at the moment.

If I hadn't complained to Freya, the news wouldn't have happened. It's a given that lan should blame me, but he shouldn't drown himself in alcohol and harm his health.

I looked to where the voice resonated from and there stood Matt, followed by about eight bodyguards. They had suppressed Aaron's men.

Since he and I had met only once, there was no conflict between us. Hence, I maintained my composure and asked, "Mr. Forbes, do you want something from me?"

Before he could speak, a familiar figure suddenly walked out from behind the bodyguards. Those eyes, which seemed to be soaked in purgatory, belonged to none other than Sebastian.

"Long time no see." A faint smile appeared on Sebastian's face, which brought the gloom from the deepest of his bones.

My breath hitched as I clenched my fists. Fear spread out all over my body.

Didn't Sebastian flee abroad? Why was he here? Why was he with Matt?

"You should come with us."

As soon as Matt finished speaking, the bodyguards behind him charged up to us. One of them walked straight to Emma, rudely snatched the bag from her hand, took out the phone from the bag and threatened us with it. He showed us the interface of the phone call with Aaron, then threw the phone to the ground. The phone broke into several parts.

"Let's go!" Then, they picked us up as if they were butchers carrying meat and walked to a black van.
