Sebastian stared at me. His almond-shaped eyes seemed to be dyed with ink and was turning darker and darker. His entire body emanated a sinister aura from hell. The thing that I was most afraid of, did it finally happen?

Clenching my fists, I kept calm. Worrying that I would be agitated, Aaron hurried to comfort me. "Don't believe him, don't listen to him. He's lying to you. I strengthened the security after last time. I also secretly arranged mercenaries. No one can approach Anne and your baby."

Tears welled up in my eyes. I held back my tears and nodded seriously while holding Aaron's hands.

However, Sebastian didn't give up and continued to argue. "Humph, how ridiculous. Arianna, you don't really believe in Aaron, do you? Think about it, if he really is trustworthy, do you think my people could have taken your son away?"

I looked up at Aaron and asked him for help.

"I'll go with you." I agreed with his terms.

"Then, follow me. The car is outside. Go there by yourself." Sebastian showed a proud look and was about to walk out.

"Wait!" Aaron stopped him. "I want to go with Arianna!"

Sebastian shrugged his shoulders to show that he did not disagree. "Whatever."

With the prey already in hand, who would mind another gift?

"No, Aaron, you have to take care of the Reid family. You can't go," I retorted.

"If you don't come back, the Reid family is just a cage. I have watched you being taken away once. As I said, there will not be a second time!" Although Aaron looked calm, his words were very stubborn.
