"Whatever it is, I'm your fiance, and I'll be Wynn's mother in the future. Why must you treat me like this?" The woman raised her voice in anger, but I could tell that she was trying to keep her temper in check.

Hendrix's fiancee? She must be Serene Forbes then.

Hearing this elicited some sympathy from me. As the CEO of a publicly listed company, she turned out to be just an ordinary woman. She was humble in front of her beloved man, but he couldn't treat her with less hostility.

This was probably not the first time that Hendrix estranged himself from her.

Serene took a deep breath. My heart went out to her. After getting irritated by Hendrix, she still had to deal with the child-version of him. Who would be able to take this?

The other woman remained silent and did not give a reply.
