"Mommy, here." Wynn lifted up his hand and handed me the box. He said, "Mommy, Uncle's paintings are amazing. There will also be many other collections from other top tier painters in the gallery. Lots of people would love to take a look."

I patted him on the shoulder and smiled to show that I understood. "Good boy."

There was no need for him to explain any further. The golden invitation in my hand alone was enough to represent the value of the art gallery from the Marshall family.

These weasels wouldn't offer their help for nothing. Jordan didn't show up when Hendrix resigned, but he was standing in front of me right now. Who knows what scheme he had concocted behind our backs.

Knowing oneself and the enemy was the best way to have control over the situation. I was also looking for any opportunity to get to know Jordan better. After a moment, I agreed. "Thank you for the invite, Jordan. I will definitely come by tomorrow."

Jordan curled his lips upwards and said nothing.

Wynn then came back with the microcomputer he had picked up from the coffee table, walked towards him, and asked sincerely, "Uncle Jordan, there seems to be something wrong with the program and the materials you gave me last time. Can you help me see what the problem is?"

"Of course." Jordan was very polite. He took the microcomputer and sat down on the sofa together with Wynn.

Once men were focused on the things they liked, they would easily ignore everything else around them. I had been highly coveted earlier, and now I wasn't even worth a moment of attention.

Knowing how Wynn was like, he wouldn't take his mind off things until he solved the problem. So I brought the dishes to the kitchen for the servants to wash up.

I was walking out of the kitchen when Aurelia had just finished her bath and ran downstairs happily expecting to play with her brother. She called her brother's name along her way down the stairs then plopped onto the sofa next to Wynn. Wynn replied calmly, "Wait for me here. I'll be done very soon."

Jordan however, was very passionate. He smiled and greeted Aurelia. "You must be Aurelia, right? I'm your uncle, Jordan. Do you remember me?"

"Uncle Jordan?" Aurelia scratched the back of her head, then shook her head and said with some confusion, "I don't remember you. Do you know me?"

"Haha..." Jordan laughed quietly and looked at her warmly. "Your daddy is my brother. Do you understand now?"

"Daddy... brother... Oh!" Aurelia pouted in surprise. She wanted to express something but no one understood her. "I love my brother the most. You must love daddy too!"

According to Aurelia's understanding, she probably thought that Jordan and Hendrix would be as close as she was with Wynn, since they were siblings.

Wynn behaved like an adult when he

suddenly stood up and pulled Aurelia to sit on the sofa next to him.

With a serious look on his face, he asked, "Can you wait for me for another fifteen minutes?"

Aurelia nodded her little head. Her beautiful eyes blinked as she answered obediently, "Ok!"

Between these two, one was much better behaved than the other.

Seeing that she was so obedient, Wynn let out a long sigh of relief, just like how an actual adult would. Then, he ran off to the other side of the room and picked up Aurelia's favorite doll and placed it into her arms. Then he turned around and spoke to Jordan who had been waiting for him. Jordan laughed out loud. Then, doing as he asked, continued to look into the program with him.

I walked over, sat down with Aurelia and quietly played with her.

I casually glanced at Jordan from the corner of my eye, watching his eyes and movements.

However, the longer I watched, the

more I felt that my assumption of him had been wrong. He didn't seem to be the calculating and cunning schemer I had imagined him to be, instead he was someone that would work his heart out when it came to teaching.

He really was pouring his heart out as he was teaching Wynn.
