I was so angry that I didn't have the time to deal with him. I pressed my elbow down against Hendrix's chin.

I leaned over, placing half of my weight on his throat. My eyes glared threateningly at him. This was to inform him that he would be dead if he didn't tell me the truth.

Hendrix's face went red due to the lack of oxygen, but he had no intention of resisting. He forced himself to keep smiling and tried to ease the tension, but he was still keeping silent.

It looks like he's going to be stubborn.

I then withdrew my hand that was holding him down. I touched his smooth neck and felt his muscles through his shirt. "Honey, just tell me the truth. At the worst, you can do whatever you want tonight, okay?" Hendrix's breathing grew heavier, but it only lasted a few seconds before his rationality prevailed.

He propped a hand around my back and sat up on the couch, trying to reason with me as he stayed in his seductive pose. "Let's talk about that later tonight. As for the truth, what you see is the truth. Andrea can't seem to let go of the past. It's not a big deal to just let her vent it out on me. It's better than you getting bullied."

Hendrix paused for a moment, then suddenly touched my arm and caressed it with his thick palm. "Stop doing these strange things. It doesn't seem like you."

My expression gradually turned cold as I glared at him mockingly. "It's not as if I can't change. Perhaps the things I didn't dare to do in the past might seem insignificant now."

After the plan had worked once, I felt the taste of power and control. I then thought that even if the trick was real, it didn't matter. At least it proved that to Hendrix, nothing was more important than my safety.

Maybe this was the reason why

there were so many crazy men and women out there in the world. They would always use such immature ways to prove their love and eliminate other people's love for

to the point that they never

cross paths again.

Hendrix's attitude towards this was pretty close to anger. The veins on his temples bulged and his face looked terrifying.

I sat on his lap as he pinched my shoulder. Our eyes met. We were so close yet so far away from each other.

Just then, Aaron rushed in with a file in his hand. When he saw us, he shivered. "What are you doing? It's daytime, you perverts! I'm standing right there!"

The mood was completely ruined by him. I quickly got up from Hendrix's lap and asked lightly while tidying up my clothes, "Why aren't you accompanying Emma at her

mother's house? What are you doing

here?"

"Oh come on," Aaron put one hand into his pocket and leaned on the door. "Are you blaming me for interrupting your fun? I can leave right now."

Just as he was about to turn around, I quickly stopped him. "Alright, enough joking around. Let's get down to business."

I looked up and pointed to the document in his hand. "What is that?"

Aaron glanced at the folder. He then handed it over to me from across the sofa. You've asked me for something once. I didn't expect that guy to keep his promise. He sent this over after a phone call. Do you want it or not?"

"Of course." I quickly took the folder from him. If I was right, then this document should contain all relevant information regarding Andrea's case.
