I frowned. "So, you are determined to get this done and you need me to help you?"

Kelsey nodded and bit her lip. "I have no way out. If you don't, I might die. If I were to live the rest of my life with Calvin, I would go crazy."

I really couldn't understand how things turned so drastic within half a year when she was blissfully happy with Calvin the last time I remembered.

"You've known Calvin for such a long time and you only saw his true colors after you married him?"

At the mention of Calvin, Kelsey looked like a deflated balloon. Looking me in the eye and said, "Yes. I thought that I knew him well as I've known him for years. Who knew that it was all just a faqade? His gentleman side was just an act and he managed to trick his parents and the people around him into believing it."

Saying that, she lowered her head and her body trembled slightly. Perhaps some of the terrible, brutal memories had been awakened in her mind. "If I never endured his abuse, I would never believe that he was someone like that. He totally changed after our marriage. At first, it was just his burst of rage. Then, it progressed to him being abusive and violent. I thought of reporting him to the police but people had been saying that I must've done something wrong to make him act in such ways. Just like what happened in the restaurant the other day, you saw it for yourself. He just went off for no reason and I didn't know why either."

"How do you want me to help you?" I asked simply without any intention of prying.

After all, this was her own matters but it was better to have one more friend than one more enemy.

Kelsey was surprised, probably not expecting that I would agree with her plan. She was a little tumultuous. "Calvin is lustful. He likes women whom he can't win over. Have a meal with me."

I frowned. "You've been thinking about this for a long time. Is that true?"

She nodded, with a bit of guilt in her eyes. "You're the only one I know who could destroy Calvin in one blow."

"It's a good plan." I narrowed my eyes and said, "Let me know after the details are set."

"It'll be today!" She said and handed me a business card. "The address and contact number are all in here as well as the room number."

Looking at her, I couldn't help but to purse my lips slightly. "How can you be sure that I will agree with you today?"

"You have agreed, haven't you?" she said with a resolute look in her eyes.

"Okay." I took the card and raised my eyebrows. "Let's hope everything goes well."

"Yes, it will," she spoke firmly as she looked at me.

At eight o'clock in the evening, I headed to where Kelsey had asked to meet up. It was a private room in a bar and it was pretty hidden.

Kelsey came over to greet me the moment she saw me. Calvin wasn't there when I arrived.

Calvin was surprised to see me but he masked it with a smile. "Kelsey mentioned that she had a friend who liked things the rough way and wanted to introduce her to me. Who would have guessed that it was you? This is definitely a pleasant surprise. I never knew that you like it that way."

I pursed my lips and smiled. I deliberately put on makeup and changed into a sexy, revealing dress to the dinner. I seldom wore revealing outfits and was feeling a little uncomfortable.

However, men always liked it this way, ravishing yet innocent.

"Mr. Hammer, have a seat!" I said while I noticed that his hungry gaze was raking at me over and over again.

His actions looked like he was appreciating a work of art.

"Mrs. Roberts, aren't you afraid that Mr. Roberts would know about this?" Calvin smiled and said, "After all, every man doesn't like any of his women to like this sort of thing."
