Ignoring his words, I used my knees to kick him in between the legs while he was distracted.

"Ouch!" Calvin grunted in pain and released his grip on me. Taking the opportunity, I climbed out of the bathtub. He still did not give up and ruthlessly reached out his hand to grab my ankle, tripping me face down to the floor.

I laid flat on my stomach. The impact made me dizzy and a searing pain travelled throughout my body.

Instantly, he got out of the bathtub. He yanked my hair, dragged me up and lifted his hand to slap me on the face.

"What are you running for? You came here willingly. What's the point of acting up?" This man wasn't going to hold himself back. My whole face was swollen and red with just several slaps from him.

I knew that Calvin had a tendency to be violent. Now that we were in a hotel room, all alone with no boundaries, he was unrestrained and ruthless in his actions.

Calvin probably felt that slapping me did not appease his ego enough that he decided to give me a kick in the abdomen.

With his kick, my feeble body slid on the floor that I knocked my forehead at the bottom part of the sink. The burning pain that seared in my abdomen and forehead made me gasp for breath.

I collapsed onto the ground. I no longer had the energy to fight him back. Seeing that I was knocked out, I saw the corner of Calvin's lip curled. He approached me and squatted halfway down.

He stopped, squinted his eyes at me and said, "The moment I set my eyes on you, I couldn't wait to undo you. Who knows maybe Hendrix will leave you after I'm done with you."

I took a cold breath out of pain and glared at him. "Calvin, you'd better not give me a chance to escape out from here, because when I do, you're done."

"Ouch!" He closed his gross mouth on me and bit on my skin. I closed my eyes in pain. It disgusted me thoroughly.

If Kelsey didn't come soon, I was really going to die there.

A loud knock rang from the door and this stopped Calvin from proceeding.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "Arianna, you're really asking for death!"

Saying that, he pinched me so hard that I was out of breath from the intense pain.

There was still a rap on the door. A loud voice called out, seeing that there was no response coming from our room, "Calvin, open the door!" This voice... was that from a middle-aged man?

It wasn't Hendrix.

Both Calvin and I were stunned to hear the voice. He threw me to the side and opened the door.

Within a couple of minutes, Calvin had already tortured me into such a wretched state. I crawled out of the bathroom to ask for help.

The man turned out to be Mr. Lewis who kidnapped me from the parking lot.

He was surprised to find me there with Calvin. Turning to Calvin, he asked, "Why did you call me over?"

Water dripped down from Calvin's body. He lifted an eyebrow and asked, "When did I call you over?"

"Didn't you say that you wanted to talk to me about something? I didn't intend to come but you said it was urgent. Something about a new task from the Moore Family." The man frowned and looked at me. "What's going on?"

Calvin pursed his lips. "I didn't call you over and the Moore Family didn't contact me either."

Both of them were surprised at the revelation. They looked each other in the eyes and realized that something must have been off.

Both of them turned and looked at me at the same time. Calvin looked at me and said, "Did you do it?"

I got up from the ground with my hand on the wall. I got myself together and nodded. "Yes. Since I'm here for revenge, it's just a matter of time, isn't it?"

Mr. Lewis was once again surprised. He looked at Calvin with his brows furrowed. "You dragged her here?"

Calvin nodded with a gloomy look on his face and said, "Let's go!"

"It's too late." I said as I leaned against the wall, feeling the unbearable pain spreading all over my body. "Do you both think that I'll let you all walk away free after the suffering I went through because of the two of you?"

A loud slap sounded. Mr. Lewis had slapped

Calvin across the face. Mr. Lewis was infuriated as he bellowed at Calvin, "You dumbass, don't you know who she is? You're really looking for trouble dragging and hitting her around!"
