My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) -
Chapter 556
He held me in his arms and said in a low and hoarse voice, "Minnie mentioned that she couldn't get through to you."
I was surprised to hear that, "So, you decided to go back to look for me?"
He smiled. There were no traffic jams in Mesville. When we arrived at the hotel, he didn't let me get out of the car properly. Instead, he carried me out of the car.
As soon as we entered the hotel room and the door shut behind us, he pressed me against the wall and kissed me deeply.
This was a place where others wouldn't disturb him, so Hendrix became more unscrupulous.
Although he acted in a hurry, his behavior continued to exude nobility and elegance.
Pulling me closer into his arms, his breath hitched slightly as he asked, "Did you miss me?"
His waist moved with too much force, sending a shock of pain through me. My grip on him tightened and my nails dug into his back, effectively scratching him.
He hissed in pain, then stopped moving. He stared at me with his dark eyes and said with a gentle smile, "If you continue to scratch me, I won't have any skin left on my body."
I laid my eyes on him and my face was burned red, "You deserved it."
He burst into laughter, "Why should I deserve it when I'm just sleeping with my wife? Hmm? You little wildcat."
God knows how much time had passed. I was so worn out that I fell dead sleep after we finished. My body felt as if it had been torn apart.
Perhaps it was because Hendrix was with me, so I slept very deeply. When I woke up, it was already the next morning.
When I opened my eyes, I saw him lying next to me. He had an unabashed grin and he wore a bathrobe. Obviously, he had already woken up beforehand.
Seeing that I had woken up, he asked in a magnetic voice, "Hungry?"
I nodded and shifted my position, only to feel my body ache in places I was too embarrassed to talk about. After being bullied by him like that, every move I made was a sore strain on my nerves. Seeing that I was frowning, he raised his eyebrows and placed his palm over my lower abdomen,
"Does it still hurt?"
I nodded.
"I just ordered us a meal. You should lie down and rest for a while after eating it."
I was surprised to see him flipping his laptop open. It seemed that he was still halfway through a document, "Do you have work today?"
He beamed and kissed my forehead, "I do!"
After saying that, he gave me a hot kiss and stayed on my lips for a long time. Then, he pointed out, "However, you are more important than that."
I tried moving a little but couldn't get up. I demanded, "Take me to the bathroom."
He cracked a smile and his eyes were bright. He picked me up and brought me to the bathroom. After that, he placed me on the bathroom cabinet. He sounded suggestive when he asked, "Can you take a bath by yourself?"
I nodded and noticed the ambiguous look in his eyes. I understood it in a second. For a moment, my face turned red and I replied angrily, "Hendrix, you're such a pervert!"
He laughed and said, "I just want to help you wash your face. What did you think I meant?"
He approached me and lowered his voice,
"Besides, I've helped you wash up before, haven't I?"
I was speechless.
The doorbell rang and he turned his back away to open the door. It was the food he had ordered.
I finished washing up and when I came out, I saw that he already had all the tableware set. When he noticed me coming out, he lifted his eyebrows, "Did you come here without bringing anything?"
I nodded and felt that my face was a little dry. I didn't bring any skin care lotion with me. He raised his eyebrows as if he knew what I was thinking about. He then motioned for me to look at the things on the bedside table.
I glanced sideways and found that a set of cosmetics had been placed on the table. They were all my usual brands.
I couldn't help but look back at him, "You..."
"Come eat when you're done," he interrupted me.
I was dumbfounded.
This man was too straightforward. He didn't even give me a chance to be sentimental. How infuriating.
The food in Mesville wasn't very appetizing. Seeing that I had been staring at the steak in a daze, he must have figured out what was on my mind.
"This place is a distance away from the food street. You should eat something first and then we'll go to the food street for dinner tonight after a rest. What do you think?"
I nodded and gazed at him, "Don't you need to work? Do you really have time to keep me company?"
