Hendrix looked up at him with raised eyebrows, "Keep quiet if you don't want to watch!"

Austin was speechless.

After the plane took off, Austin probably felt bored, so he turned on the video and glanced sideways at me. He asked, "What drama are you guys watching?"

Hendrix didn't wait for me to speak.

"My Love from the Star," he just immediately replied.

Austin was truly at a loss for words.

"Falling in love with an alien, wouldn't the ending be sad?" He murmured, but still typed the drama title into the search bar.

Perhaps it was because I was watching a drama, so the trip felt much shorter than when I was flying out alone. More than ten hours later, we were about to reach Ucrebury.

As I watched the scene where the male lead was leaving, I burst into tears and I began to feel sad watching the drama.

Hendrix handed me a tissue and consoled me, "Don't worry. They'll be together in the end."

I looked up at him, my eyes a little red and asked, "How do you know that?"

He lifted his eyebrows, "Most drama have endings like this."

I...

I was at a loss for words.

We finally arrived at the Ucrebury airport.

When we left the airport, dawn was already breaking. We had spent our entire journey watching the drama, so I was extremely sleepy.

Hendrix had arranged for a chauffeur for us in advance. I was in such a sleepy daze when I got in the car. Hendrix hugged me and signaled me to sleep at ease.

I didn't even know how or when we arrived at Flora Hill.

I woke up the next day.

When I did, Hendrix was not by my side, so there was no longer any warmth under the blanket.

I got out of bed and washed up.

When I went downstairs, I noticed that Minnie was busy while the weather in Ucrebury had started to warm up. The sun had risen at about seven in the morning.

"Arianna, you're awake. Breakfast is ready. Eat it while it's still hot." Minnie seemed to be in a good mood as she hummed while wiping the table.

I ate a few mouthfuls, feeling my appetite that morning was pretty good.

All the companies had started to work again. Sherman sent me several messages, asking me when I would return to Jarold City.

The press conference for the new product was about to begin.

I thought for a while and decided to go back in the next two days.

"Minnie, what time did Hendrix go out in the morning?" I asked as I ate the porridge.

"He left at dawn in quite a hurry," Minnie said. After a pause, she glimpsed at me and added, "I heard that Andrea's not the Moore family daughter. I'm afraid that she hadbeen mistaken for someone else." I was appalled. Did Hendrix leave because of this?

I didn't ask any more. At first, I planned to go back to Jarold City, and to take Anne with me. I was in poor health these days, so I asked lan to take care of her.

I decided to drop by the Bronzy Residence.

When I arrived, Sawyer was cooking in the kitchen while lan was holding Anne in his arms. When he saw me, he pursed his lips and complained, "You're a bad mother. I almost thought that you disappeared." I nodded my head apologetically and replied, "I went to Mesville and didn't come back until last night. How's Anne? Has she been good?"

He nodded. He saw Anne stretching out her hands, wanting me to hug her. Ian then handed Anne to me and pointed out, "This little fellow doesn't want to drink powdered milk anymore after having a taste of breast milk."

Anne looked a little thinner as I held her in my arms. Sitting on the couch, I caught sight of Sawyer completely focused on cooking.

I couldn't help but take a look at lan, "Are you planning to return to Jarold City?"

He knitted his brows, "Are you going back to Jarold City?"

I nodded and answered, "There's a new product to be released in the Granger Group. It's a project I've been in charge of, so I kind of have to go back."

He peered at Anne, "Are you planning to take Anne back to Jarold City and live there?"

"Yeah!"

He was silent as he took glances at Sawyer. He asked, "Do you have plans to go to Jarold City?"

Sawyer stopped what he was doing and looked back at me, "Brilliant Audit and the Clark family are both in Ucrebury. I'll only go to Jarold City if I have a business trip."

Help After a pause, he glanced at me, "You can resign from the Granger Group. Come back to Ucrebury. The Roberts Group is basically managed by outsiders now. As the Young Lady of the Roberts family, you ought to join the Roberts Group and manage it."

I curled my lips; my first thought was to refuse. He continued, "Hendrix is ambitious, but the Group's roots and foundation lie in Ucrebury. Rather than handing it over to outsiders, it'd be better if you could manage the Roberts Group in Ucrebury."

I was silent for a moment. After pondering for a bit, I said, "Back then, I left Roberts Group because I made a mistake. Now, even if I were to return, I must have at least achieved some kind of result before doing that. I'm in charge of the Al product line for the Granger Group. If I leave now before even seeing any results, would this be any different from when I left Roberts Group back then?" "So, what are you going to do?"

"I'll wait for the market performance of the Al products. Also, I saw Irvin." Anne was probably hungry as she stretched out her little hands and rubbed them against my clothes. Sawyer's gaze darkened, "You mean Yohannes's only son, Irvin?"
