Everyone raised their glasses and started drinking. It was as if everyone felt comfortable chatting again, and the atmosphere instantly livened up.

As the crowd started talking at once, Naomi leaned closer to me and whispered, "What is your relationship with Sebastian? Are you really related to the Roberts, the Reids, and the Moores as well?"

I hadn't expected her to ask me this. I paused for a moment before saying, "Naomi, this is a tricky question, and I choose not to answer you!"

"What's the big deal? Are you worried that well take advantage of you if you tell us? You think we would try to claim some benefits from you?" Dahlia piped up, looking at me with a smile.

After a short pause, I replied, "I don't mean that. I just feel that it's not a good idea to tell you. We're close friends who have experienced life and death situations together. Why would I think you would take advantage of me?"

"That's not right. Only the four of us have experienced a close shave with death together. As for you, you've always depended on men or your relationships to pull through, and you haven't suffered much. It's easy for you to say sentimental stuff like that."

Dahlia's words were discreetly scathing, but what she had said was true.

I didn't know what to say, so I forced a smile and did not reply.

"Dahlia, what are you saying? If it wasn't for Arianna knowing Sebastian, do you really think that we would've survived so easily? Don't take things for granted!" Naomi said and looked at Dahlia with a hint of anger.

Dahlia sneered at this, "I'm taking things for granted?! Do you really think it was her who saved us? If she really wanted to save us, she could have saved us from that operation back in Myanway right away. Why did she have to wait until after Kaleb had done what he did to us before playing the heroine and letting us suffer again? What's her deal? Trying to make up to us after tormenting us?"

Tina looked at Dahlia, and frowned slightly with displeasure. "If you don't want her help, you could've left right away after coming here. Why did you go to Arianna's room in the middle of the night and show her the wound on your abdomen? If you did not ask for it, did you think you deserve help without asking?"

These words instantly left Dahlia dumbfounded. Her face was flushing red with anger at the moment. She knitted her brows and wanted to scream back at Tina.

Rainie cut in quickly, "Let's calm down. We don't have to fight. It's meaningless to quarrel like this. Besides, everyone is safe now. Shouldn't we be glad that we are still alive?"

Things quieted down. Then, Dahlia got up and said, "You guys go ahead and eat. I'm full."

And she went upstairs.

Tina and Naomi didn't speak. Rainie looked at me and changed the subject. "Arianna, are you heading straight to Jarold City after returning to the country?"

I nodded. Then I thought for a moment and said, "Yes, I want to go back to see my daughter."

"You have a daughter?" she asked, surprised. "You are so young! How do you have a daughter given your age? How old is she?"

"She is five. She's turning six very soon!"

They looked at each other. Naomi looked at me incredulously and asked, "So, you are married? Does Sebastian know about this?"

I was baffled by her question. I merely nodded and said, "He knows!"

"Huh?" They were all shocked upon hearing this. "He still treats you that well, even when he knows that you are married? Does he have some kind of mental complex?"
