It was such a rushed proposal, so clearly it could not be well prepared. After a pause, I said, "The Milton Group does not excel in this field. Hendrix would never pick us." Sebastian frowned and threw the proposal in his hand aside. He looked at me and said, "Let's go eat first."

He looked at the time and found it was already six o'clock. "The bidding time is eight o'clock in the evening. I'll go to the Greenland Hotel first. Can you eat out tonight?" I was stunned for a moment and shook my head. "No, I have asked my friend... I just know that the bidders are from state-owned enterprises."

He glanced at me angrily, probably feeling appalled by my response. "Miss Reid, how did you become a director at the Roberts Group?"

I frowned, and he looked at me coldly. He said, mercilessly, "Your bad proposal doesn't show any knowledge of your opponents. Do you really think the Milton family is just having some fun?"

"Mr. Milton, it's been less than six hours since I was assigned this. I needed to understand its design and advantages and understand my opponents and their selling points. He paused and responded, "I can't deny that six hours isn't much. It's good that you're able to analyze all the advantages and disadvantages and concoct a 3000-word proposal in just a few hours. However, Arianna, it doesn't mean that it couldn't be done better."

I kept quiet. This person was obviously unreasonable. It was useless to talk back.

Naomi called me on the phone, and her voice was as loud as usual. "D*mn woman, where have you been? Aren't you going to check up on me? I fought for you!"

"How are you?" I asked her, but I wasn't worried. Hendrix had asked Evan to handle her situation. He would have taken good care of her.

She clicked her tongue and said, "I'm in the hospital, but I'm fine. I scratched that little b*tch Dahlia's face, but I'm still not satisfied."
