Arabella couldn't understand what her grandfather was saying. She tightly grasped his withered hands and lay on the bed with tears in her eyes. "Grandpa, don't you remember me?"

Shaun touched Arabella's head and said, "Bella, you've grown up quickly. You were a little girl, and now you're a grown-up."

"Grandpa, I've grown up and you've been sleeping for a very long time."

"Since you have grown up, I must tell you something. In fact, your mother is my boss, and you are my little boss."

Arabella was stunned. "Grandpa, what are you talking about? I don't understand."

"Bella, in fact, I was your mother's butler. In order to cover up your mother's identity, I asked my son and your mother to get into a fake marriage. You are not Seth's daughter."

This was the first time Arabella heard about her real background, she was completely stunned.

Arabella felt that Grandpa's tone was as proud as that of Janelle.

"Grandpa, do you mean my mom and dad had a one-night stand and stole dad's genes?"

Shaun coughed. He couldn't bear anyone to speak ill of Ms. Lynch. "How could it be called stealing? That's his luck. Ms. Lynch chose your father, spent a night with him, and gave him a daughter. I think he wor a big prize."

Arabella didn't know what to say.

"Grandpa, how did my mom die? Did Caitlin and Stephany kill her? It was they who pushed you down the stairs."

"I know I was pushed by them. But Bella, they couldn't approach Ms. Lynch. They're no match for her. Her death has nothing to do with them."

That was out of Arabella's expectations. She thought that her mother's death had something to do with Caitlin and his daughter, but she didn't expect her mother had thought nothing of them. "Grandpa, how did my mom die exactly?"

Shaun hesitated for a moment and said, "It's better to say that Ms. Lynch is missing rather than dead."

Arabella was astonished and asked in disbelief, "Grandpa, did you say my mom is still alive?"

Shaun nodded and said with a look of admiration, "At least I think so. Ms. Lynch is so powerful that she wouldn't easily die unless she wants to. I am not sure about the detail. Not long after Ms. Lynch suddenly had an accident, I was pushed down the steps by Caitlin and her daughter. Now it has been so many years, we can't find any clues."
