Lili left the house looking for her daughter and Valentina, they had been out of the house for hours and she had only told them that for a while. She thought that maybe her daughter had a lot to do with that delay, Sofia used to be very persistent, getting her to do what she wanted. So the brunette left the house in search of her, but after a few minutes she didn’t find any of them and that was starting to worry her.

-Have you seen my daughter with the human girl? I ask a group of people.

-We haven’t seen them for a long time.

-Didn’t you see where they went?

-No, I’m sorry Lili.

She went on her way, she had no choice but to look for the alpha to help her. So she ran to where Eren was, and judging by the scent he was in the company of her husband… as soon as she reached the other side of town, where the hunters were getting ready to leave, the brunette spotted the alpha taking off his jacket.

-Alpha! she shouts at him.

-Lili, what are you doing here? asks her husband.

-What’s going on? Eren looks at her with a frown.

-It’s Sofia and Valentina, they left a long time ago and I can’t find them anywhere. I asked them not to go into the woods but….

The brunette didn’t finish articulating the rest of the words when the alpha without taking off his clothes ran straight into the forest transforming into a wolf and tearing all his clothes. Within seconds he began to sniff the air and found Valentina’s scent. Eren ran towards that direction, it was strange, he didn’t understand what the hell he was doing on that side of town, usually no one went there since it was a leafy land.

-What are you talking about? whispers the brunette.

-I can feel his presence, he’s hanging around this place but he doesn’t know how to get in.

Valentina looked up looking all around, there were no entrances, only one. And as far as she could tell the path to this entrance was full of bushes. She bit her lips thinking if the one who wanted to enter was her silver wolf. It was not good for the girl to see him, she would be more frightened than she already was.

-Don’t be afraid, whatever is out there I don’t think I can get in.

-He is looking for ways. He tells her, squeezing her hand tightly. -We must get out of here. Sofia whispers, walking to the exit while dragging the brunette.

At that moment they both hear a growl that paralyzes them on the spot. Without Valentina being able to help it, all the hairs on her body stood on end, feeling really scared by that growl. She wondered what kind of animal could it be to growl in such a way? It was definitely not the wolf she had met that afternoon. Then what was it?

-Well, I think it’s fainted from fright. He looked up at the near-hole in the wall of flowers. -What was that? He frowns.

The alpha walks over to the hole sniffing, but finds nothing. It was impossible that there was no scent of any kind in that place, it was obvious that a wolf had done it. A very big one, but all wolves had a particular scent. What made this one so special? It was aggressive, because of the voracity with which it tore the bushes, its mission was to kill the girls. Eren understood that the pack was not safe, that they should leave as soon as possible and abandon the silver moon.

He returned to Valentina who had stood up with the girl in her arms. She was looking at him in a strange way that the alpha could not understand.

-It wasn’t you who did that damage, that was something else. The wolf licked her. -Did you know I was in danger? She laughs to herself. -This must be silly, coming to talk to a wolf. At least Sofia didn’t see you. She says to the animal. -Stay away from these people, they might hunt you. I don’t want to see your skin hanging over there.

Valentina approaches him to stroke his neck gently while smiling. The young woman reveled in the majesty of the beast. It could appear to be aggressive and dangerous but it was very sweet thought the brunette. She looked at his ear and other parts of his head, it was scratched.

-You are hurt. He caresses the wounds. – I have to go! It’s time for you to go home too.

The young girl walks out of the den but is then followed by Eren, and that’s when she turns to see him frowning.

-No, you can’t follow me. Go home. But the wolf didn’t move. -Do you want to see that I get home safely? Then Eren licked his face tenderly. -Okay, yes, I understand… but not too close. You leave when I get to the village. He tells her to start walking again.

Even though they were both in danger and would possibly earn a good scolding from him the situation seemed a bit comical to him. Who knew a human would give orders to an alpha, but what they did wasn’t right. They had strayed too far from the pack and if she hadn’t made it in time, she couldn’t imagine what would have happened to them both.
