My Silver Alpha

Eren and his men finally managed to reach the herd that was attacked and found a mess, but the strangest thing of all was that there were no bodies. Only traces of b***d and many destroyed houses. The alpha was sniffing all over the place keeping alert in case those wolves appeared. He immediately caught the scent of those animals, but only their scent. There was no trace of any other scent. Nothing made sense, where had these animals come from?

-There is nothing here alpha, this place is desolate. Deon tells him.

-I want you to check it out, look for where the bodies are. An entire pack couldn’t have disappeared by itself.

His wolves scattered all over the place, scanning every corner of the pack, Eren, for his part, was thoroughly investigating the surroundings of these lands. He sniffed the earth and realised that the scent was too faint for the average wolf’s sense of smell, but not for him. It was the same scent he smelled on his land, he sniffed the place carefully and from where he was he realised that he was not part of the slaughter, he just stood there watching.

Eren suspected it, that wolf had something to do with those new aggressive wolves that had appeared out of nowhere. The question was, had he created it? The only way to find out was to track him, but from that point on the scent of that wolf was gone. It was like chasing a ghost… The alpha returned to the village watching as the wolves gathered in a circle. Apparently they had found absolutely nothing.

-We haven’t found any bodies, neither in the houses, nor in the surrounding area. They have disappeared! sentences his Beta.

-All right, let’s go back home. Orders Eren.

The wolves ran into the forest behind their alpha, they were only a few hours away from nightfall and they had to hunt for food for the day. So they had to hurry… but what they didn’t count on was that they were being watched and like a pack of wild animals many wolves came out of the bushes attacking them all in seconds.

-Eren, it’s an ambush. His beta shouted at him.

The alpha watched as a pack of ferocious wolves ran towards them leaping through the air on their huge bodies….

Valentina dropped the glass plate from her hands as she felt a bad sensation in her chest. Automatically the young woman brought her hand to her heart, feeling it pounding. She was sure that something wasn’t right with Eren.

-Valentina, are you okay? Lili began to pick up the shards of glass.

-Yes. Oh my God, I’m so sorry. She bends down to pick up the remaining glass.

-What’s wrong? You’ve gone white from one moment to the next.

-I just felt something was wrong with Eren. She denies. -Don’t mind me, it’s probably just me being silly.

-I’m sure he’ll be fine, he’s probably out hunting a little further away from his land. Food has become scarce lately.

She nods but still feels uneasy at the foreboding in her heart. Flattening her lips as she finishes packing up, she looks out the window noticing that it was about to get dark and she still hadn’t arrived.

Eren was picking off wolf after wolf, they were very strong and their bite was ferocious. Each animal that was removed was thrown away without seeing it get back on its feet, but one after another kept coming out of the bushes. He heard how his companions were in trouble, he quickly turned to see Deon with three wolves on him, they were practically killing him. He ran towards him to help him, pulling the savages off his furry body which was dripping with b***d.

In the distance he caught two of his men turned human, that meant they were dead. Their entire bodies bore deep bites, their flesh was torn, impossible for them to regenerate.

-Alpha, there are too many of them, we must leave now.

He was not about to leave and let those wretches get away with it. The back of his back thickened more than usual giving him a bit more size. He snarled at the wolves attacking his own and as fast as his paws would take him he ran at them, one by one they fell dead at his feet. Eren’s bite was powerful and no wonder he was the son of the king.

His companions escaped the wolves while the unharmed ones snarled at the alpha who had stepped in front of his comrades. Eren bared his teeth at them while his growl was louder than that of his enemies. The wolves paced back and forth savouring the b***d of their people. The alpha kept his eyes on them.

-Get out of here. He orders his people who stood behind his imposing body.

-But alpha…” Deon refutes.

-Now! He demands forcefully.

Eran knew it, he was nearby witnessing the whole spectacle. These wolves were his children, his creations, and this was just a test to measure his power. That only told him one thing, he was not strong enough to attack him directly… his men left while the wild wolves charged at him at the same time.

Lucian watched his boys attack the alpha at the same time, that was quite a scene. But he could also tell that this Eren was too strong. If he dared to attack him he could die under his jaw. Lucian shook his head as he watched his people flee leaving him alone, he had less chance of escaping unharmed from the attack of his creations. And if he was badly wounded it could be his chance to get him out of the way, he was just a hindrance to their main objective…

As he continued to hide in the shadows he watched as he picked off his little ones one by one. That would cost him a lot, he would have to look for more humans. It would be a hard task as hunters were becoming scarce. By now, the alpha had eliminated most of his wolves, only a few remained on the sidelines. Of course the silver wolf was bleeding all over, he was the worthy son of a king he thought.

Eren’s wounds didn’t worry him, the only thing he was afraid of was if those animals followed him to the silver moon. It would be a massacre, he couldn’t take them all. Despite the number he eliminated he could smell that there were many more around. He thought of Valentina, she was human, how could she defend herself? She would not allow any of these animals to cross the borders, even if she left her life there.

He ran towards the wolves attacking them directly on their necks… when they sensed the threat that they couldn’t win they started to retreat, Eren had one of them in his muzzle which he broke like a biscuit. When he let go he was completely alone, but not quite. He was close behind him. So without giving him a chance he turned his body and ran to where the real enemy was.

Lucian had been caught, he was so caught up in watching the fight that he neglected his position. By the time he reacted he had the alpha on his paws.
