Chapter 6

The alpha entered his house being greeted by Sofia who threw herself at Eren. She carried her delicately in her arms while the little girl smiled from ear to ear.

—Hello little one, where is your mom?

—Upstairs with your girlfriend, she is very pretty! Are you going to marry her? The brunette asks in her arms.

—She’s not my girlfriend, and I don’t think we’ll get married. He answers seriously as he goes up the stairs.

—Mom says yes it is, she is your moon and that they should get married. Respond innocently.

While Eren thought the opposite, his girlfriend was at least young and he doubted that anything would happen between the two of them. Therefore he did not respond to the girl, it would be useless to make her understand something like that. She was very small… Eren entered her room, seeing Valentina’s body in her bed and Lili next to her trying to clean her up a little.

—How is she doing?

She has a slight fever, but it has already gone down. Don’t worry, she’ll soon be able to get out of bed. The woman smiles at her, Sofía was just like her mother but with the character of her mother.

—I imagine you want her to recover so you can be with her. I understand you. The girl smiles at him.

—That’s not why… he walks up to where Valentina is to look at her closely, her blows had gone down and she was less swollen than before.

Seeing her so vulnerable, Eren felt a whiplash in her heart. She now understood the words of her father when she told him the deep love she had for her mother even though she was human. The fact that she is different from her did not mean that he could not love her as if she were a wolf of the pack… but that was not how the young alpha thought, he believed that accepting her would be very painful for him. If he lost Valentina for reasons of nature or some accident like the one that happened to his mother, he couldn’t live with it.

He hadn’t even exchanged a single word with Valentina and he already felt a deep connection with her. He would have a hard time separating from her.

Lili left with Sofía, leaving the alpha alone with that girl with beautiful features. She sat on the edge of the bed caressing her cheek with the knuckles of her fingers, she seemed so fragile. Everything about her radiated innocence, he loved her scent, it was so enveloping. She left him drooling. She denied getting out of bed.

The next morning Eren came out of the shower that was inside his room, the alpha was drying his hair with the towel walking towards the bedroom when he stopped his steps immediately. His eyes widen when he notices that Valentina was awake, staring at him with her mouth open.

—Who the hell are you? The girl asks, her face full of fear, looking at him from bottom to top.

And that’s when he remembers that he had come out of the bathroom completely naked, of course that was normal for him. Furthermore, she was still unconscious as she would know that she would wake up while she was bathing. Eren covered half of her body.

—Hello… my name is Eren.

-Where I am? What am I doing here? Why are you here?

—Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you. She raises both hands. —I rescued you from an accident you had.

-Accident? The girl frowns as she looks at her scratchy hands. -What is this? She makes to stand up abruptly

when she feels a horrible pain in her side. —AHHH! She screams in pain.

-Do not move! Eren approaches her earning a dirty look from her.

—Don’t come closer… What happened to me?

-You do not remember? The alpha backs away.

-No. She answers, looking at her hands. -I do not know what happened.

Eren worried, apparently the girl had lost her memory about the accident. She didn’t know if that was good because that way she would forget that she had seen him on the bus. What she wanted to know was how much I forgot.

-What is your name? Where were you going? She remained silent while she continued looking at her hands, she didn’t like that.

—I don’t know… she finally answers after a few seconds. —I don’t remember my name.

It definitely wasn’t good, if she couldn’t remember anything at all then how the hell would he send her back home. He would never leave her to her fate if she didn’t remember where she was going, she needed the doctor to check her now that she was awake.

—Tell me what happened to me, how did I get here? That time Valentina looks at him.

—Your vehicle had an accident on the road, I saved you and brought you to my house. The doctor examined you and found that you had some not very serious injuries. When you arrived here you were carrying a bandit, there I found your wallet along with your name. Your name is Valentina.

—Valentina? He frowns.

—Can you remember anything? Does your name sound familiar to you?

Eren wasn’t sure whether to approach her to comfort her or let her vent alone. Aside from him being half naked, it wasn’t as good of a meeting as they say. Risking reproach or rejection, he approaches her, squatting next to the bed.

She pulls out some pants and a black leather jacket. -Sleep a bit more.

She leads her steps to the door without turning to see her, Valentina needed time to think things over and with him at her side she wouldn’t make it. From the strong aroma she emanated she knew she was upset but also uncomfortable.

—A friend will come up to help you with whatever you need. She closes the door behind him.

Valentina stares at the closed door for a moment. Tears continued to come out of her eyes non-stop, she was so shocked and overwhelmed at the same time. Why didn’t she remember anything about her life? He wiped the tears from her eyes wondering if anyone was worried about her. She looked at everything around her.

-My God! I don’t know where I’m at. Who is that man I just met? She hugged herself feeling a little cold.

Suddenly the door opens, startling Valentina who grabbed the sheet with force. But just then she sees a little girl with jet black hair enter the bedroom in the company of a woman who smiled at her as if she had known her all her life.
