Nash thought to himself approvingly.

Austin had seemed a bit stuck-up before, but he was not pushy like

other rich kids.

Actually, he was quite low-key.

He could tell from how Elsabeth had quietly introduced him to Melody

that Austin did not usually show off about being a Kennedy.

Tina turned to Nash and asked, “Nash, where do you work?”

Nash replied, “I don’t have a job.”

Tina’s brows were slightly furrowed, ‘So, you’re a scion?”

A look of scorn crossed Tina’s eyes. “So, you’re living off Mel?”

Nash was at a loss for words. “If that’s what you think, sure.”

Melody had spent a lot of money on him in the past.

It was almost like she had taken care of himself for some time.

Tina did not want to deal with the guy who was living off a woman, s she turned to Melody and said, “Mell I’m just three months older than you, but I’ve always seen you as my little sister.

“When you pick a boyfriend, make sure he’s someone who wants to do great things. It’s okay if he doesn’t have much money, but he can’t be without dreams and the will to make them come true!”

Melody could not help but giggle at Tina’s advice. If only she knew

Nash was super rich, her face would be a sight to see.

“Thanks, but Nash and I are just friends. And he’s married anyway, so

don’t worry about it!”

“He’s married and still hanging around Mel!”

Tina huffed and took a big swig of her drink.

Melody gave Nash an embarrassed look.

Nash just gave a small smile. He really liked how loyal and caring

Melody and her friends were.

The evening went by with lots of laughter, drinks, and tasty food.

Before they knew it, it was time to head to the hotel.

They had a nice walk around the old town and then decided it was

time to go their separate ways.

As they left the old town, five or six vans pulled up out of nowhere.

The doors flew open, and over 30 tough-looking guys with batons

came out.

They were all dressed in sharp suits, nothing like your everyday bad

guys.

Finch and a bald guy were in charge.

Elsabeth turned white as a ghost. “That’s Dexter and his guys! What

are they up to?”

Austin put his arm around Elsabeth and said, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this!

In just seconds, Melody and her friends were surrounded.

Dexter Morelli warned the crowd, “If you don’t want trouble, beat it!”

Seeing how serious he was, the crowd did not hesitate to scatter.

Dexter strutted over to Melody and her friends and demanded, “Who here is Melody?”

While he spoke, his eyes were already fixed on Melody, who was in a dress.

She was breathtakingly beautiful.

She was a woman so stunning she outshone any woman he had ever

met.

Melody replied calmly, “That’s me. I’m Melody.”

Dexter’s eyes sparkled. Then, he pointed at Elsabeth and Tina. “You two can go. Melody stays.”

Elsabeth turned to Austin in a hurry. “‘Austin, you’ve got to help Mel

Dexter rubbed his shiny head and let out a mocking laugh. “And who are you supposed to be? You think you matter around here?”
