My Substitute CEO Bride -
Chapter 2037
"It's alright," Alfius replied politely. "I think it's fine this way. By the way, I haven't asked. Why are you here?" "Master Nash is here-"
"On vacation," Nash cut Mosley off.
"Ah, I see," Alfius responded.
"That's the main reason, but we're also here to take care of some things for a friend," Nash added confidently.
"Okay, I won't ask more. Oh, have you guys eaten yet?" Alfius asked.
"No! My good sir, you must be planning to treat us to a big meal, right?" Mosley exclaimed, patting Alfius on the shoulder excitedly.
"Mosley, you're always causing trouble!" Nash scolded him, pulling him aside.
Alfius smiled. "It's fine. Consider it a way to repay you for saving my life. Come on, it's no problem."
Seeing Alfius' insistence, Nash could not refuse. "Alright, lead the way."
They headed toward a wooden cabin.
"How strange," Nash muttered to himself as he walked behind the group.
The Alfius before him seemed entirely different from the one he had encountered in the Heaven and Netherworld game. Back then, Alfius had an undeniable charisma and leadership quality. He was a spirited young man, but now, he seemed overly cautious-almost fearful.
Could it be due to the game's influence? Something must have changed him deeply, something he was keeping a secret-much like Mosley.
...
"Mr. Sucho, the spy has reported." A black figure appeared at the window.
"Oh? Speak."
"Yes, Mr. Sucho. According to our spy, Nash Calcraft from Drakonia, the one who killed Ace, has arrived in the Land of Nion."
"Nash Calcraft?" The president, Palm Sucho, hesitated before adding, "What's he doing here?"
"According to information from Drakonia, he came to take a position at a friend's subsidiary."
"A subsidiary? A new position? That lie is rather clumsy," Palm growled.
"Do you think he's coming after us?"
"It's possible. Issue orders to keep a close watch on him. If anything seems off, notify me immediately." "Understood. One more thing, Mr. Sucho."
"What is it?"
"The swordsman association at the eastern border has been wiped out."
"What?" Palm stood abruptly. "Do we know who did it?"
"The Niho Ninja Guild. Also, the demon sword, Rain of the Village, is missing."
The president exhaled deeply. "I see. For now, they don't pose a threat."
"Then I'm reassured. Oh, and there's one survivor from the swordsman association. Should we...?" "No need. He can't cause any trouble. Just keep an eye on Nash and the Shadow Warriors."
"Understood."
The black shadow disappeared, and Palm leisurely sipped his tea. "Nash, you should've stayed in Drakonia. Coming here is a foolish move."

"Mr. Tilman! Mr. Tilman!" Alfius called out.
"What is it, Alfius?" Tilly asked, looking up from the firewood. "These are..."
"Let me introduce them. This is Nash, my savior, and this is his apprentice nephew, Mosley. They're from Drakonia and just got off the plane. Can they have a meal here?"
"Oh? Of course," Tilly replied with a hearty laugh.
After Nash and Mosley greeted Tilly, they helped prepare the meal. They all worked together until evening. Afte dinner, they started chatting.

When Nash asked about Alfius' experiences, he retold the story he had shared with Tilly previously.
