My Wife Wants a Divorce by Red Little Fruit
Chapter 672 Extremely Awkward

As Julien watched Sydney exit the door, a sinking feeling grew worse in Julien's heart.

The meaningful smile on Sydney's face when she left made Julien start to wonder if he had done something stupid when he was drunk. Why else would Sydney give that look?

'Did I do something stupid?' Julien kept his head down, his palm on his forehead. He began to recall his memories during his drunkenness. Eventually, he remembered it.

After all, he didn't have amnesia. He just forgot it for a while. When he tried to think back, he could remember it.

Thinking about when he was drunk, he acted like a retard. He felt ashamed of himself.

Although Julien showed nothing on his face, his widened eyes gave him away. He couldn't believe he had done those things

He acted like a child and did those childish things to Sydney. No wonder Sydney was looking at him with mocking and teasing eyes.

She must have been looking forward to seeing the look on Julien's face when he remembered what he had done. She would definitely laugh at him.

Immediately, Julien was dumbfounded. He began to regret it. He shouldn't have been drinking. If he hadn't been drinking, he wouldn't have acted that way and Sydney wouldn't have seen it. But now it was too late to regret it. Sydney had seen everything.

'The prominent image I had built up in Sydney's mind must have been all but ruined. Now she must think I'm so stupid and childish.'

Julien wiped his face. He had mixed emotions in his heart.

Now he didn't know how he was going to face Sydney.

If he went out, he was sure he would see the teasing expression on Sydney's face.

Julien rubbed his brows and sank into thought.

Suddenly, a knock came on the door, and Sydney's voice rang out, "Julien, have you gotten up? It's time to eat."

Julien replied in a hoarse voice, "OK. I'll be right there."

Hearing the tension and embarrassment in Julien's tone, Sydney raised her eyebrows.

'Looks like he's remembered it all.'

Sydney smiled, "Hurry up."

"OK," Julien responded.

Sydney turned around and walked towards the dining room.

Hearing Sydney's footsteps get away, Julien dropped his hand from his eyebrows. Then he lifted the blanket and prepared to get out of bed.

'Forget about it! I'll face her anyway!'

'I can't always avoid her.'

'What's done is done. I can't do anything to change it. Let her laugh if she wants to.' Thinking about this, Julien was a little relieved. Then he prepared to get out of bed. Just as he stepped his left leg out from under the blanket, he realized that he was wearing pajamas, not the suit he had worn before he had been drinking. 'So Sydney changed my clothes?'

Julien glanced at his pajamas. A glimmer flashed across his eyes. He stood up and walked towards the door.

As soon as he opened the door, he smelled the scent of food.

Julien's expression became tender. He headed for the dining room.

As he got closer to the dining room, the smell of food became stronger.

Soon, Julien arrived in the dining room.

At the far end of the dining room was the kitchen.

Julien walked to the dining table. He could see clearly that Sydney was busy in the kitchen, her back to him.

What grabbed Julien's attention was the clothes Sydney was wearing.

He hadn't noticed it when he was in the room. Now he realized that Sydney was wearing his pajamas and that she was wearing his belt around her waist. She wasn't wearing any pants, revealing her slender legs.

Her legs were lengthy and firm. They were so perfect and tempting.

Julien lowered his eyes and rubbed his chin with his fingers. Then he called out," Sydney."

Hearing Julien call her, Sydney came out with two dishes. She smiled at him, "You're up?"

Julien nodded slightly.

Sydney put the dishes down on the table. Then she pulled out a chair and asked," How are you feeling now? Are you dizzy?"

"No." Julien shook his head.

Sydney was relieved. "Good. Looks like you're sober."

Julien sat down on the chair Sydney had pulled out. He glanced down at her legs. Then he swallowed slightly and said," You're wearing..."

At Julien's words, Sydney rolled her eyes at him. "Earlier you insisted on taking a bath after getting drunk. You wanted me to help you..."

She blushed and had a dry cough. Then she continued, "You said you couldn't undress yourself and asked me to help you. I didn't want to, but you dragged me into the tub, and I got all wet. I had no choice but to wear your clothes."

Hearing Sydney's words, Julien immediately remembered it.

He looked at Sydney guiltily and apologized, "I'm sorry..."

Sydney grunted, "It seems you've remembered everything?"

The corners of Julien's mouth twitched. "Yeah... Sort of."

Sydney smiled, "How do you feel? Can you believe you did all that childish stuff?"

Julien picked up the water she had just handed him and sipped it. He didn't

answer her.

Sydney knew that Julien had admitted it and that he was embarrassed. She chuckled, "Honestly, I can't believe it either. I'm surprised you're so childish when you're drunk. But it's adorable."

"Adorable?" Julien looked at her.

Sydney nodded, "Yeah, it's adorable. Normally, you wouldn't do these childish things. If you had not been drunk, I probably wouldn't have seen you being so adorable in my life."

Julien coughed. His face reddened slightly.

Sydney's eyes widened in surprise.

'Julien blush at my compliments? That's funny.'

"Sydney, thank you for taking care of me." Julien suddenly said after he regained his composure.

Although he didn't know when she had arrived, he was sure she had come early.

She had been taking care of him, soothing him, and enduring his stupid requests. She must be very tired.

Seeing the guilt in Julien's eyes, Sydney knew why he thanked her. She felt warm inside. She smiled and waved her hand. "It's okay. I'm fine. I just hope you're okay. It looks like you're back to normal. Are you okay now?"

Julien lowered his eyes. After a few seconds, he replied, "Yes."

"Great," Sydney clapped her hands. "I heard from Grandma that you used to be drunk all day every year on this day. Now there are a few hours left today, and you're sober. You're moving on." "Thank you for staying with me." Julien looked into her eyes and said with an earnest expression.

He remembered what had happened during the day. And certainly, he also remembered Sydney had been staying with him all the time.
