Megan paused for a moment after hearing Vivienne's words. She replied: "Yes, it's not easy to bear. That's why we need to work hard so that no one can step on us once we become successful."

Vivienne smiled and added: "Exactly! Once I make it big, I'll crush them all!"

When they met with the director Hou along with the producer and screenwriter at a dinner party soon after this conversation took place, Vivienne stood up to greet them but couldn't bring herself to smile when she saw Sebastian walking in. Scarlet quickly introduced him as Mr. Crowley - an investor in their film project from The Crowley family.

Vivienne was surprised that Sebastian would come here for dinner. It turned out that Scarlet had just secured sponsorship from The Crowley family today.

Although Vivienne wanted revenge against Sebastian for what he did earlier, she decided not to reveal his true identity yet.

After exchanging pleasantries with Sebastian upon introduction by Megan, Vivienne felt uncomfortable about how tightly he held onto her hand during their handshake before finally letting go.
