One Girl Two Mates
Chapter 21

Rafael was upset after I told him that we were preparing for war. He had stormed off after arguing with us for over thirty minutes. Now Diego, the witches, and I stood in the middle of the training grounds.

"What do you know of your powers?" Marjorie asked.

"Uh, not much." I shrugged.

"Do you know what powers you have?" Marjorie slowly circled me, looking me up and down.

"Well I know I can heal people." Marjorie nodded at my words.

"I can speak to people in their mind, not like a mind link." I chewed my bottom lip as I watched her and Edith.

"Anything else?" She asked with a raised brow.

"I think I can turn invisible and control people somehow."

"Explain." She said, stopping before me with a curious expression.

"Maybe I should show you." Marjorie nodded, agreeing with me. I took a deep, steadying as I made eye contact with Edith. I felt the familiar buzzing across my skin as I focused.

"Dance." I was surprised at the deepness of my voice. Edith's eyes glazed over turning completely black and I watched as she started to dance terribly. Marjorie slowly clapped her hands.

"Stop." I spoke to Edith again, releasing her from my power.

"Don't do that freaky s**t again!" Edith huffed, crossing her arms.

"Do you think you can make yourself invisible again?" Marjorie asked, ignoring Edith's outburst. I nodded hesitantly, taking deep breaths. I relaxed feeling the buzzing climb up my body. I heard a chorus of gasps, I watched as Edith, Marjorie, and Diego looked around.

"Lili?" Diego sounded panicked.

"I'm right here baby." I replied, letting myself reemerge. He let out a sigh, running towards me and pulling me into a tight hug.

"Even your scent disappeared." He spoke into my hair.

"These gifts are quite impressive, Luna." Marjorie spoke.

"But I think you have more, it's almost like I can feel your unlocked potential." Marjorie continued, coming to stand before me once again.

"Let's start this already." Edith groaned, rolling her eyes.

"Alright Luna, stand here. Diego, stand here." Marjorie positioned Diego and I about six feet from each other.

"Now Diego, what is your power?" Marjorie asked him.

"Fire." He replied, lifting his hand and creating a fireball.

"Incorrect, you can control fire and air." Marjorie smirked at him.

"I think I know what I can do, French lady." Diego rolled his eyes.

"There are perks of being mated to a white wolf, Alpha. What happened during the mating process?" She raised her perfectly arched brow. Diego and I made eye contact, remembering how our bodies glowed.

"That is why you needed to mate and mark as soon as possible, she unlocked your full potential." Marjorie smiled smugly. Diego looked down at his left hand, focusing on his palm. I gasped when I watched a mini tornado form in his palm. Diego laughed, looking up at me, twirling it in his hand.

"This means that Rafael now controls water and Earth." Diego and I looked up at Marjorie with confusion.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well because he's a silver wolf." She noted simply. Diego and I made eye contact as the news settled in. It made sense since his eyes were the color of pure silver.

"Okay, blah, blah, blah, now train already." Edith huffed.

"Yes, Diego, I need you to throw fireballs at Lili." Marjorie said simply.

"Excuse me?" Diego exclaimed, eyes almost popping from his head.

"She needs to train, Diego." Marjorie frowned slightly.

"You won't hurt me, baby, I'll be fine." I smiled encouragingly.

"I-I can't do that, mi amor." He frowned deeply, his eyebrows pulled together.

"Oh don't be a wuss, she's not some delicate flower! She's the white wolf for f***s sake!" Edith exclaimed, stomping her foot.

"I don't care! She is my mate, I can't do what you're asking." Diego threw up his hands, refusing to hurt me.

"Alright then." Marjorie sighed, stepping before me.

"Let's try things my way." She raised her palms and took a fighting stance.

KANE POV

"What do you mean you can't get a hold of the witch?" I watched as the scared rogue shook before me.

"Alpha, it-it seems she's somehow disappeared." He stumbled through his words. I roared, slamming my fists into my table.

"Find her damn it! I don't care how, you find that f*****g witch! I want her f*****g head!" I shook with anger, turning my back to the filthy rogue.

"I don't think that will be necessary." I felt a chill crawl up my spine at the sound of an unfamiliar French voice. I turned to see a woman almost identical to the other witch, the true Astral witch. The only difference was this woman had long silver hair that was braided, swinging around her waist.

"Who are you?" I growled, smelling the witch in the air.

"I am Geneviève, I hear that you've met my incompetent daughter.

"Marjorie is your daughter?" My mouth popped open, the woman looked more like Marjorie's twin sister.

"Don't be so shocked young man, witches stop aging at twenty five, you should know this." She raised a cocky brow as she stalked closer to me.

"Of course I knew that." I huffed at her tone.

"Why are you here?" I scooped up my glass of whiskey, tossing back the contents and watching her.

"I told you, to finish what my i***t daughter started." She shrugged simply.

"Why should I trust you?" I eyed her suspiciously.

"You should trust no one." She replied cryptically. I raised my brow at her.

"Helping you will benefit me greatly, you don't need to know the details." She smiled and it reminded me of a snake smiling at its prey. I felt weak and vulnerable under her intense gaze.

"We don't have much time to prepare. This ritual must be completed on a full moon and there is one in three days. We must prepare." She spoke matter of factly. I continued to eye her with suspicion, I didn't trust this witch. Something deep within my gut told me to run far from her, but then my beautiful Phoebe's face flashed in my mind. I needed her like I needed air in my lungs.

"Alright witch, what's the plan?"

RAFAEL POV

I sat in Diego and Lili's room, tossing back glasses of whiskey. Flashbacks from the day my mother died flashed through my mind. The idea of losing Lili to war had my heart squeezing. I sat up straighter when I heard the door open. Diego and Lili came stumbling in, looking disheveled. I knew they were training, I could feel all of it. I jumped up and rushed towards them. I cupped Lili's face, tilting it upwards. "Who did this?" I growled at her busted lip and small scrape on her forehead.

"It will heal." Lili huffed, batting my hands away and wiggling away from us. I watched her flop down face first into the bed.

"Lili, you're hurt." I argued.

"She'll be okay." Diego laid his hand on my shoulder, giving it a squeeze. I shrugged out of his touch.

"You let them do this!" I barked at him.

"He needs to train her powers!" He snapped back.

"She is our mate! Our Luna, the future mother of our children! Diego, she could very well be growing a pup right now!" I watched his eyes widen, we both gazed over at Lili. She flipped onto her back, looking down and caressing her flat tummy. "That just means I have something to fight for." Lili defiantly said.

"Lili... I can't lose you... I've already lost so much." I walked to her, dropping to my knees.

"You won't lose me, you and Diego are strong, you can protect me." She smiled, cupping my cheek. I held her hand that rested on my cheek, leaning into the sparks and tingles it gave me. Diego came to sit next to her on the bed, his hand rested on my other cheek. I cupped his hand too, loving the tingles they both gave me. Lili's eyes gazed down at my neck, licking her lips as she slowly leaned forward. I instinctively leaned my neck to the side, giving her access. I moaned when her vampire teeth punctured my neck, shocked when an o****m rocked through me.

"Someone must be hungry from a long day." Diego husked, I watched as his arms slowly trailed over her body. My anger at them was slowly starting to roll away. She pulled away, licking the wound clean and kissing up and down my throat. Her small hands started pulling at my clothes, Diego doing the same to her.

"I'm taking you both rough and hard, prepare yourselves." Lili giggled as I pushed her back onto the bed. Diego stood and stripped from his clothes. I pulled her to the edge of the bed and without warning began thrusting into her tight, warm center. "You just get to watch, for now." I growled at Diego, motioning for him to take a seat. He smiled seductively as he sat on the bed, gazing into my eyes as I pounded into our mate. This is going to be a fun night.
