One year later

I stared down at the two little pink lines, tears rolling down my cheeks. We expected me to get pregnant soon after the wedding, but as the months passed I began to worry. Diego and Rafael tried to hide it, but I knew them too well. I often second guessed the Goddess' words. Maybe she was wrong, maybe I wasn't meant to have these daughters she spoke of. I was so happy to be wrong. I jumped up from my seat on the edge of the tub and did a little happy dance.

"What's with all the dancing?" I looked up to see Diego standing in the doorway of the bathroom. I ran for him, throwing myself into his arms and squeezing him tightly.

"Hey, what's going on?" He asked with worry, he began to gently rub my back. I leaned back slightly and gazed up into his beautiful, golden eyes.

"I'm pregnant." I watched his face break into a wide smile. He wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up, twirling me around. I heard heavy footsteps coming towards the bathroom. I looked over Diego's shoulder and saw Rafael standing in the doorway. I smiled as happy tears rolled down my cheeks. His eyes darted to the pregnancy test box that I left on the counter. I watched as confusion passed across his face soon replaced with joy. I didn't even have to say anything, he strode across the short distance, wrapping Diego and I up into his

arms.

Once we were done jumping with joy we decided to head to the pack hospital to get a check up.

"Hello Luna, how are you feeling?" The nurse asked me as she checked me in.

"Just feeling excited." I smiled brightly.

"Right this way." She said as she led me to a small exam room.

"We're gonna draw some blood and run a few tests then we'll have an ultrasound tech come in." She said as she left me to wait. They had Rafael and Diego stay in the waiting while they drew blood and ran their tests. After what felt like an eternity of being poked and prodded the ultrasound tech finally came in. They let Rafael and Diego come in too so they could also see the baby. They both sat next to me, Rafael held my hand as Diego stroked my arm.

"Hello Luna, Alphas, are we excited to see the little pup?" The ultrasound tech asked as she plopped goop on my flat tummy.

"Very." I replied, practicality vibrating with excitement. I just wanted to see my baby, to know that it's really there. She smiled and nodded as she moved the wand around. I felt my anxiety spike when I watched her smile slowly drop.

"Is something wrong?" My heart pounded in my chest.

"No, no, I just have to grab the doctor really quick." She replied quickly as she hopped up from her seat. I sent a worried glance to my mates.

"Hey, it'll be okay, baby." Rafael said, squeezing my hand. Diego nodded in encouragement, sending me a small smile. I knew they were worried too, I could feel it through our bond.

"Hello, Luna and Alphas." The doctor said, announcing himself as he walked into the room. "I'm Doctor Walker, I'm just going to check on the pup, okay?" He said, giving us a warm smile. The ultrasound tech stood behind him timidly. Posted by FindNovel.net; visit us for more free novels.

"Is the baby okay?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Yes, yes, I just have to check a few things." He sat in the chair that the tech once sat in. He placed the wand on my tummy and rolled it around. He made a few noises to himself and at one point he looked over at the tech to give her a tight nod. She gave us a small smile before she left quickly. All the while we couldn't see the screen. The doctor let out a deep sigh as he sat the wand back in its place holder.

"Please, what's wrong?" My voice broke as tears pricked my eyes.

"You have a very rare disorder called Uterine Didelphys." I glanced at my mates before I looked back at the doctor.

"What does that mean?" My brows furrowed.

"You have two uteruses." He said, turning the screen to show us. I gasped as I looked at the black and white screen before me.

"Is that two babies?" Rafael asked the unspoken question that hung in the air.

"Yes, Alpha and there's a possibility that they have two different fathers." Indicating that Rafael and Diego both had a baby inside me. My eyes were as wide as saucers as I looked at my mates. They had expressions that I'm sure were similar to mine. I felt happy tears roll down my cheeks. After everything we've been through we were finally going to start the family I always wanted. I looked over at my handsome mates and just knew, everything's going to be okay.
