Alexander's

POV

The boys and I glanced at each other for the tenth time. We were about to break a very important news to them and we didn't know how they would take it.

"Will you stop glancing at each other and tell us why you called us here? Is something wrong with any of you?" Mother asked worriedly.

"No Mother but Alex was..." I nudged Julian's arm to stop him from saying anything. I knew he was about to tell her about my health. I am completely fine now. After I stopped taking the herbs, I started to recover gradually on my own. Getting to know that I had kids and spending time with them also added to the healing process. Although I didn't tell them not to inform our parents, I saw no need why they should find out about something of the past that would only end up hurting them. Julian and Philip understood that when I stopped them. "Alex was what?" Father inquired.

"The reason why we called you out here today was to inform you about Emma's kids. Cole isn't their real father. I am Mason and Madison's real father," I muttered slowly watching their expression closely. I figured it was time to let them know since Emma found out we knew about the kids thanks to our numerous fans who couldn't help but blabber about our visit. Madison told us everything. They glanced at each other.

"Surprise!" Philip exclaimed, trying to lighten up the mood. They didn't look shocked by my confession which means...

"You both knew?" I asked skeptically.

"It was quite obvious after they came here for dinner last time. I had my suspicions after finding out she had kids which was why I invited her over. We weren't sure if you all had something going on before which was why we did all we did to find out the truth," she replied.

"Mum!" we all uttered.

"What? We didn't inform you because we weren't also sure if they were your kids just like how you weren't sure. Did you think you were the only ones that could keep a secret?" she asked. "So that whole dinner was a setup?" I asked just to be sure.

"The only thing we planned was to find out about your real relationship with Emma, the rest of what happened at the dinner was a surprise to us too," Father responded. We stared at them in disbelief.

"So, when can we meet our grandkids? Can we meet them right now? I'm so excited that I can't wait. I have so many stories..."

"Calm down Lila, you are getting ahead of yourself. How does tomorrow work boys? Will you bring them over or should we go over to their place?" Father asked cutting Mother off. Julian and Philip chuckled.

"We would speak to Emma and find out what she has to say. Our relationship is still a bit sour," I replied. Father sighed while Mother glared at us.

"She's such a sweet girl. Why did you have to treat her like that? If we had known she was your mate, we would have gotten you married immediately regardless of what the council said. We would have all been a happy family," she said.

"If only we had known. We hope we can make all this right," Julian replied.

"You had better make it right," Father added.

"Mum, I've been curious. How did you find out about such a secured and hidden psychiatric institute for Hailey?" Philip asked the question that has been on our minds.

"I spoke with her father, the beta and he informed me about everything she was planning. She came here that day to guilt trip us into taking her back so she could find a way to get back her position. It showed she never cared about this family. All she cared about was the connection that came with it. Her father informed me that her mother also showed this kind of behavior before she tried to kill his mate. In which she died in the process. After informing me about this, I knew th is wasn't just a desire to gain power. She was a real threat to herself and everyone around her. I was prepared when she came because I knew she wouldn't be able to resist for long. I had her sedated and taken to that facility only I and your father know about to get the help she needs," she explained. "I still can't believe we've been letting a crazy b***h play with our minds for all these years," Julian sighed.

"Which was why you should have informed me when you found out about all these things. It wouldn't have gotten this far. Anyway, Hailey is in the past now, what you should be focusing on is getting Emma back. I want my grandchildren," Mother said. "And you will get them back. We promise. But for that to happen, we need to leave right now," I answered.

"Where are you going?" Father asked.

"To win your daughter-in-law and grandchildren back," Julian replied.

"Go quickly then. What are you still waiting for?" she gestured for us to leave the room. We smiled as we stood up to leave.

"How are the articles looking?" I asked Julian as he scrolled through his phone.

"So far, there has been none. I'm sure none of them want to lose their jobs. Philip and I made special visits to their various companies," he replied.

"Great," I said. After our confession to Emma and how she reacted by walking away, we realized that we shouldn't have drawn so much attention to her. For us, we were used to the attention but we didn't think about how this could affect her. As much as we wanted to let the whole world know about our love for her, our woman didn't want that kind of publicity. The journalists had to delete the stories and take them down.

"We should get dressed. Meet me outside at ten?" Julian asked. We nodded in agreement. I went into my room and wore my black suit quickly. I brushed my hair and slipped on my shoes and wristwatch. I put on some deodorant.

"Glad to see you are making an effort after suppressing me for so long," Nate, my wolf growled.

"Are you still upset? You left me with no other choice," I replied.

"And yet, here you are doing the exact same thing I had told you to do which you suppressed me for," he retorted. I sighed.

"I'm sorry Nate. It was stupid of me to do and I regret it. I suffered too, it took a great toll on my health," I said.

"The only way I will let this go is if you bring my mate back to me," he growled.

"I will, I promise," I replied to which he ignored. I deserved that for what I put us both through but he will come around, he always does.

"Is Nate still sulky?" Julian teased.

"Don't rile him up. Can we leave now?" I asked.

"We can. The person in charge of taking care of Emma has been at it all day. She stubbornly refused to get attended to insisting that she had work to do. But, it's been resolved. She got ready while speaking with a patient," Philip responded as we headed down the stairs. I chuckled. I could imagine her complaining.

We drove towards her house. I glanced at my watch and it was about 7 pm. We got out, walked towards the door, and rang the doorbell. Mason opened the door.

"Mason, how are you?" Julian asked with a smile.

"Fine, I guess. Mummy will be down shortly. I have no idea why Mady is so dramatic. It's just dinner," he muttered.

"I'm not dramatic. Don't you see how it's done in movies?" we heard Mady's voice. She peered out at us with a wide smile. She looked so cute with her pigtails. She reminded me a lot about Emma. "Hello, daddies. You all look so handsome. Great job," she said, giving us a thumbs up.

"Aren't you the cutest little girl ever," Philip cooed. She giggled.

"Look, mummy is here," she said excitedly, opening the door wider. My eyes widened like saucers when I caught sight of her. Dressed in a beautiful evening gown that seemed to be crafted from moonlight itself, the gown gently caressed her figure, accentuating her curves, the fabric swayed with every step she took creating an ethereal movement around her. She shone with elegance and stood with confidence and poise. She was a sight to behold and at that moment, I realized this Emma was a fully mature, grown, sophisticated, and classy woman, not the young, shy, cute, scared Emma we used to know.

My breath hitched as I beheld her beauty as if she were an angel descended from the heavens. The love and admiration in our gazes were unmistakable, and we couldn't help but feel incredibly lucky to have her by our side. We would be fools to ever let her go again.

As she approached us with a gentle smile, my heart fluttered with a mixture of pride and affection. Her presence seemed to illuminate the entire room, and at that moment, we knew we were in the company of someone truly extraordinary.
