Owned By Her Triplet Bullies
(Bk 2) Chapter 12

Lexi's

POV

I was sitting at my table doing an assignment when my phone suddenly rang. I glanced at it, seeing that it was Mady, I smiled and picked it up. "Hey Lexi," she said in a chirpy voice.

"Hey," I replied.

"What are you doing?" she asked curiously.

"An assignment. Why do you ask?" I inquired.

"That's so boring. I know something that might cheer you up," she said.

"I'm not moody. Why would I need cheering up?" I asked in surprise.

"But, you had a cold. You will need some warming up," she insisted. I dropped my pen and leaned into my chair.

"Where is this going?" I asked skeptically.

"There's a party at my place tonight to congratulate a certain someone on his arrival back into this city," she explained. "So..," I trailed.

"I'm extending an invite to you..."

"No, absolutely not. Do you know what time it is?" I inquired cutting her off.

"It's just 8 pm. The night is still young," she whined.

"You do know that it's a school night right? A party on a school night. We have classes early tomorrow morning," I said.

"You sound just like Mason. So serious," she mumbled under her breath.

"What?" I asked.

"I said it doesn't stop us from having fun. I promise I will have you dropped off at home right on time later today. You have to come," she responded.

"Parties are not really my scene, Mady, and it's so late at..."

"Thank you. Do come okay? I will be expecting you," she hurriedly cut me off. I frowned.

"I never said I will be..."

"See you soon. Bye," she said excitedly and hung up. I stared at my phone in surprise. Just when did I tell her that I would be coming? My eyes darted towards the door when I heard a slight knock. I walked towards it and unlocked it. "Mum?" I called out in surprise.

"Can I come in?" she inquired.

"Of course," I responded, opening the door wider and stepping out of the way. She walked in.

"I couldn't help but listen in on your conversation," she muttered.

"Mum," I whined.

"What? You were been so loud. I could hear you from the living room," she said. I shook my head at her.

"I heard you got invited to a party by your friend. You should go," she said. I stared at her in surprise.

"Did you just encourage me to go to a party with hot-blooded teenagers on a school night?" I asked.

"Absolutely. What is so wrong with that? That's what high school is mostly about. I had my own fair share of parties. Besides, you will be home before midnight," she said. I kept staring at her without responding. "We are afraid you are too serious for your age. You are not having fun like you ought to," she continued. I narrowed my eyes at her.

"We?" I asked.

"Yes sweetheart," Dad responded with a smile from the door.

"Dad you too?" I inquired in surprise.

"I agree with your mum this time around. You should really go. Take this opportunity to make new friends but no alcohol and definitely no boys," he warned sternly. I chuckled.

"So, are you going?" Mum asked curiously. I sat silently for a while.

"My friend already thinks I'm coming. I can't disappoint her now. Can I?" I asked with a smile.

"Yes!" mum exclaimed, clapping her hands together happily. "You know, I will have to meet that friend of yours and thank her profusely. She managed to do what we couldn't no matter how hard we tried," she continued. I rolled my eyes. "It's just a party mum."

"I know. Which is why I'm so happy. Even the smallest of social gatherings matter when it comes to you. Wear that dress I got for you the other day okay? We will leave you to get dressed," she said as she stood up on her feet.

"And for goodness sake, apply some make-up. You have a box full of them," she said. A box full of make-up that she got. They finally left and I headed towards the bathroom to freshen up. After that, I walked towards my wardrobe to grab the dress and get dressed. It was a little white dress that stopped just above my knees, adorned with intricate lace patterns that cascade down its A-line silhouette. Its bodice features a sweetheart neckline, embellished with small pearl beads that glinted softly. The skirt flares out gracefully, and with each movement, it creates an elegant swish. A satin sash cinches the waist, adding a touch of subtle charm.

I decided to apply light makeup on my face to avoid any more complaints. I applied pink lipstick and curled my hair. I stared at myself in the mirror and I couldn't help but feel a little overdressed.

"We look hot Lexi. Don't you dare think of taking it off," Darcey warned. I smiled and grabbed my phone before stepping out. I gasped when I met my parents standing right in front of my room.

"Look at our baby girl, all dressed up and beautiful. I thought this day would never come," Mum said tearfully. Dad grabbed his phone and started to take several pictures.

"Take one in this angle too," she instructed.

"Can you both stop being so dramatic?" I pleaded.

"We will after a few more photos. It would be a waste to let this extremely beautiful version of you go without any pictures," she said.

"My cab is here. Bye mum, bye dad," I waved at them and hurried off, my heels clicking loudly behind me.

"Don't have any alcohol and stay away from boys," Dad called out.

"Have fun darling," Mum said. I quickly got into the cab that was waiting for me.

"Where to miss?" the driver asked politely.

"The Alpha's mansion," I replied. He started the ignition and we sped off. I gazed out of the window till we stopped in front of Mady's place. I got down and from the gate, I could hear loud music blaring loudly. The lights were shining brightly. I headed in finding it hard to hear a single thing except for the loud music.

"Drop your cell phone here, miss. It isn't allowed inside," a man in a suit said to me loudly. He appeared to be a bodyguard.

"Why?" I inquired.

"For security purposes," he replied, gesturing towards the table. There were lots of phones placed in little boxes with people's names. I gently placed mine in and walked in. "Welcome to the hottest party..," I turned around when I heard someone speaking. His eyes took me in slowly and he whistled.

"Damn, you look hot," he complimented with a smile. My eyes widened in surprise. I know him. About 6ft tall, brown eyes, curly brown hair, muscular, and that smile. Apart from my dad, he was the next male I didn't hate to the core even without meeting him. It was Torres freaking Fernandez. I used to read his interviews in magazines all the time. I really admired the way he made a name for himself at such a young age.

"Torres?" I asked in disbelief. Now I know why our phones were taken from us.

"You know me?" he asked.

"Of course. I mean, who wouldn't know you," I replied. He smiled.

"It's an honor to meet such a pretty damsel who knows me," he said.

"Don't even dream about it," I heard Mady's voice.

"Lexi, you made it. You look amazing," she squealed excitedly as she pulled me into a hug.

"You invited me so how could I miss it?" I said with a smile.

"You know her?" Torres asked.

"She's my friend so don't even think about coming close to her," Mady warned as she grabbed his drink from his hands. I suddenly heard people yelling his name.

"I need to leave now. Duty calls, see you beautiful ladies later," he winked before leaving.

"How do you know him?" I asked.

"It's been a very long time. We go way back," she replied. She was wearing a short red skirt and a black off-shoulder crop top. Her hair was pulled into a messy bun and red lipstick coated her lips. She looked effortlessly gorgeous. I glanced around and a couple of students were dancing on the dance floor, sweaty bodies grinding against each other, some were chatting, and drinking while others were making out. I grabbed a glass of orange juice from the table close to me. I wanted to be completely sober for whatever happened tonight.

"What about your parents? Won't you be in trouble if they find out?" I asked curiously. I didn't want to incur the Alpha and Luna's wrath.

"They all went on a trip so it's fine," she replied. The music suddenly stopped and everywhere became quiet. Everyone began murmuring.

"Why did the music stop? I will be right back," Mady said.

"No way! Is that you Rachel?" Torres exclaimed in shock. The image of a girl in a tight-fitted royal blue dress suddenly came to view. I furrowed my brows. She looked oddly familiar. Where have I seen her before?
