Owned By Her Triplet Bullies -
(Bk 2) Chapter 93
Lexi's POV
I woke up and got out of bed. Stretching my limbs, I felt my muscles ache in ways they've never ached before. When I thought of the reason why that happened, my face flushed. I buried my face in my palms as I recollected the passionate night we shared. After I got out of the bathroom yesterday, we couldn't get our hands off each other till we were both worn out.
When I realized I was still wearing Mason's white shirt, I bit my lips. It smelled so much like him. Last night, I felt his love from the way he touched me and constantly asked if I was okay. I could tell he cared so much about me which I was so grateful for. I never thought I could ever meet someone who would love me to that extent. And I never thought s*x was that enjoyable and pleasurable. My past experiences had always been filled with pain and I did it out of obligation and the fear of being left not because I truly wanted to, but with Mason, I had never been so sure of anything before and as expected he had been so sweet and considerate. Thinking back now, I was glad I never let Nick mark me. I touched the mate mark feeling complete and one with Mason in all true sense. "How are you feeling?" Darcey asked. I smiled.
"Can't you tell?" I inquired.
"I can tell you are happy. I'm happy too. I've never felt this happy and content before. Being able to feel my mate is way better than I had expected," she replied.
"I know Darcey. I'm glad I took the risk of getting rid of my fears and holding onto Mason. If I hadn't done that, we never would have been able to feel the happiness we are feeling currently. He has been nothing but sweet and nice to me. I find myself falling harder every day," I admitted.
"We deserve every bit of this happiness after all we've been through," she purred.
"I couldn't have agreed more," I mumbled. Speaking of Mason, where was he?
I wore my shoes and walked towards the bathroom. "Mason?" I called out gently knocking on the door but I got no response. I opened the door and a sweet and compelling scent immediately filled my nostrils. It smelled of food and something else. The compelling scent smelled familiar just like Mason's shirt; woodsy, spicy, and minty. I followed the scent till I got to the kitchen.
"Hello beautiful," he called out without turning around. A pot was placed on the gas cooker which was giving off a very appealing smell.
"What are you cooking?" I asked, walking towards him.
"Breakfast for my lady," he replied, turning around with a smile. I wrapped my arms around his neck and placed a kiss on his lips.
"Good morning," I muttered with a wide smile.
"Morning my love. How was your night?" he inquired.
"It was great mostly because you were right beside me," I replied honestly. I've had no nightmares ever since I started having feelings for Mason and whenever he slept beside me, holding me in his arms, it was even better.
He held onto my waist. "I could wake up to this all day. Should we just move in together when we get back?" he asked curiously. I chuckled.
"Do you want to get into my dad's bad books? He wouldn't tolerate you trying to take his only child away," I replied.
"Well, I'm sure we would be able to sort something out," he responded with a wink. My heart skipped, he was simply too good-looking to be true especially when he smiled at me like that showing his dimples.
"I want to try what you are cooking," I said, glancing at the pot.
"Sure," he replied, letting go of me. He walked towards the pot and scooped up a spoonful, he gently blew on it before placing it close to my lips. My eyes widened when I had a taste.
"So good," I moaned out of ecstasy. He was simply just too good at everything.
"I had some motivation," he replied. The room felt warmer than yesterday so I turned around to look at the source of heat. There was a little fireplace where some wood was burning and the smoke going up through the chimney. "Did someone set up the fireplace?" I asked. He hummed.
"I had them do it this morning but are you trying to seduce me, mate?" he mumbled, his hands going under my shirt. I gasped when I realized I had completely forgotten to put on some underwear. My b**t was also pressed to his front, he held me tightly against him, his nose pressed on the crook of my neck.
"It wasn't on purpose. I was going to get changed but I wanted to come see you first," I replied, closing my eyes as his hot tongue sucked and licked the mark sending jolts of electricity through me. His hand parted my thighs and slid into my wet entrance. I bit my lips to suppress a moan.
"Mason, o...our breakfast..."
"I have a way tastier breakfast here," he whispered.
"But it will get burnt..," I barely finished speaking when he lifted me up and placed me on the kitchen counter. We kissed wildly and passionately as his fingers got to work.
"You are like an addictive drug Lexi. I can never get tired of you," he whispered. The sensation was too much, I gripped his hair and scratched at his back. Just like last night, my body responded immediately, doing things on its own. His phone suddenly rang but he made no move to pick it up.
"Your phone," I muttered breathlessly.
"Ignore it," he said. I suddenly heard a knock on the door and the smell of something burning.
"f**k," he cursed out of frustration getting off me while I was still in a daze. He switched off the gas cooker and walked towards the door. "Help me pick up my phone?" he said. I nodded in response getting off the counter. I smiled when I realized he didn't even check his phone before asking me to pick it up which showed he had nothing to hide.
"Hello," I muttered, placing his phone on my ear.
"Why are you picking up my brother's phone?" I heard Vivian grumble. I could tell she had a frown etched on her face.
"Good morning Vivian. Your brother is currently busy with something. Is it important? Should I give it to him?" I asked curiously.
"Don't bother if he's busy," she replied.
I nodded. "Okay," a very prolonged silence followed. "Is there something else or..."
"I heard you were my brother's mate," she said all of a sudden.
"I am," I responded in surprise.
She scoffed. "I vividly remember you saying you would never have anything to do with him. How is that going now? You are even on a trip with him."
I smiled. "You are right but I was foolish back then and I didn't know what I was talking about."
"Well, the Martinez family has that effect on people. I was certain you were going to have a change of heart someday. Our physical appearances are no joke," she stated proudly.
I chuckled in amusement. "That's completely right but I didn't fall in love with Mason just because of his looks. I..."
"I don't want to hear it. You can tell him that yourself," she replied.
"Who are you talking to?" I heard someone ask curiously.
"Sit still and let me rub the ointment. How can you foolishly eat what you know will cause a serious rash?" she scolded gently. If my guess was right, that was probably Sean.
"When I saw you, I completely forgot I wasn't supposed to eat it," he replied sheepishly.
"You are hopeless," she replied.
"You both are so cu..."
"Don't even complete that statement. Inform my brother I called and don't even think of leaving him or hurting him," she warned.
"I would never do that. It would be like hurting myself," I responded. She sounded so mature, like an adult but her little voice always gives her away. She might sound tough and rude but it never outshined her kind heart. I'm sure she's going to be the upgraded version of Mason and Mady when she grows up.
"Good. I'm sure he's treating you like a princess so there's nothing to worry about. See you both when you get back. Didn't I tell you to sit still?" she said before hanging up.
"Who was it?" Mason asked bringing out plates to serve our food.
"It was Vivian. She's so cute," I replied with a smile taking a seat on the dining table.
"She is but never say that to her face if you don't want to get on her bad side," he responded. We both took a seat and began to eat but there was a question I had been wanting to ask him and this moment seemed to be the perfect time. "Have your parents called? We left without informing them. I'm sure they must be worried," I said. He paused and stared at me.
