“Why are you so despicable? In the three years, you haven’t become smart but more shameless!”

“Why? You took me away from Lin Man and wanted to prevent her from returning home?”

Amber straightened her somewhat messy hair, turned her head slightly, and saw Lin Man standing at the door of the ward.

She held the corner of her clothes tightly, and looked a little flustered, like a shaky little white flower.

The feeling of being ashamed came up again and took over her chest.

Amber took out a few sheets of paper towels and said nothing. She wiped the porridge off Cindy’s face.

Cindy didn’t cry. Except for blinking when Amber wiped her face, she was quite like a doll.

The food was still very hot and there was some soup. After Cindy’s face was wiped clean, her white face looked red and swollen.

Sean’s pupils contracted, and the familiar pain spread in his heart.

Sean threw himself heavily into the soft pillow and closed his eyes.

Cindy’s face looked badly hurt.

Sean was a little guilty. It was Amber’s fault, and it had nothing to do with Cindy.

He licked the corner of his lips and said to himself in his heart. He was right!

If Amber didn’t mention Lin Man, he wouldn’t have been so angry!

Who knows if she did that on purpose?

Who knows if she deliberately used her daughter to play a battered-body trick?

Sean sneered.

He wouldn’t be fooled by her.

Was she expecting him to apologize and coax her?

Lin Man walked in. She glanced at Sean who was lying on the messy bed, motionless, feeling a little complicated.

Sean had a morbid fear of getting dirty. When did he ever do this?

“Sean, why… why did you argue with Amber again?”

“You should let bygones be bygones!”

Sean turned his head, looked at Lin Man, and asked in a low voice, “Why are you here?”

“I’m worried about you.”

Sean nodded. Lin Man smiled, and said in a low voice, “Sean, why don’t you get off the bed? I’ll call someone to clean it up.”

Hearing this, Sean froze.

He got off the bed, and Lin Man went out to get a cleaner over. As soon as she got out of the ward, she saw Amber sitting on the plastic bench in the corridor and holding Cindy.

Amber sat quietly. People passing by couldn’t help but look back at her.

Lin Man tucked her long hair behind her ears and walked to Amber. Her shadow covered Amber, and Amber looked up.

“Amber, what are you doing here?”

“Why don’t you go in?”

Amber looked indifferent, “Miss Lin, let’s talk.”

“Amber, I’m going to get someone to clean up the mess in the ward.”

“Amber, I don’t think we need to talk. I have already told you that I didn’t mean to disturb you and Sean’s life!”

“After the designer exchange meeting is over, I will leave.”

The corner of Lin Man’s mouth curved slightly. She bypassed Amber and walked away.

“Lin Man, there is no one else here. Stop pretending.”

Amber put Cindy on the ground, “Cindy, go over there and play for a while. I need to talk to aunt Lin.”

Cindy walked away tamely. Amber stood up and walked to Lin Man. She was taller than Lin Man, so she lowered her eyes slightly, “I’m not interested in your purpose of coming back. If you didn’t want to disturb our life, you wouldn’t have shown up in front of Sean.”

“Amber, is that what you want to tell me?”

Lin Man smiled, “If Sean knew, he would be upset again.”

“You know how Sean feels about me. I advise you not to invite trouble.”

Amber smiled, “Sure.”

“I stopped you to give what you and Sean want.”

Lin Man was a little stunned.

Amber tilted her head, and looked at her with a serious look.

“It will take sean a long time to recover if I take care of him. He likes you. You should stay and take care of him!”

“Amber, are you serious?”

Lin Man asked with a hint of mockery.

“Aren’t you afraid?”

Amber patted the wrinkles on her white shirt and tilted her head, “Don’t do something silly like changing the ointment again!”

“I don’t agree. If I take care of Sean, his father will know about my return…”

“Don’t worry. I won’t let him find out.”

“But if something happens to Sean, I will drive you out of the country like three years ago!”

Amber smiled and said, “You should know that time can dilute all feelings. Three years have passed. Don’t overestimate your weight in Sean’s heart!”

Lin Man kept silent.

She looked at Amber and nodded, “OK, I promise you, but I hope you won’t regret it!”

Amber blinked, turned her head, and crooked her finger at Cindy. The little girl ran over. Amber leaned down and picked her up, then turned and walked towards the end of the corridor.

Lin Man stood behind her, blinked slightly, and the corner of her lips curved slightly.

The ward was cleaned up. Sean also changed his clothes, and Xu Lin had bought him a new phone.

Lying on the hospital bed, he was waiting for Amber while playing on his mobile phone.

A male nurse walked into the ward. Lin Man arranged her dress and whispered, “Sean, the nurse will apply the medicine for you.”

Sean didn’t lift his head, and whispered, “No, Amber will do that for me after coming back!”

Lin Man didn’t stop. She stood up, made room for the nurse, and said, “Amber will not be back today.”

Sean paused, looked at Lin Man, and asked, “What?”
