Sean took a deep breath.

Lin Man continued, “She specially told me not to make any mistakes when I take care of you. What if she blames me after I go?”

“Lin Man, don’t overthink. It’s not about you.”

Although Sean’s tone was flat, Lin Man subconsciously fell silent.

After being with Sean for so many years, she knew he had a resolute character.

She pressed her lips, and Sean said casually while being on his phone, “Be prepared and shine at the exchange meeting. Staying in the Smith Group will be your gift for my discharge.”

“Okay?”

Lin Man paused and nodded.

The corners of his mouth curved, but he doesn’t look like smiling. He curled in under the quilt, held the phone and typed the message to Amber word by word.

Xu Lin gave him Amber’s cell phone number.

Sean slowly said, “She stayed in the hospital to take care of your husband for you. Shouldn’t you buy her something to thank her?”

Amber laughed.

Her tone was calm without anger. Sean paused.

Amber continued, “Why do I feel like I have been taking care of Miss Lin’s husband for her for three years?”

Sean was speechless.

Amber whispered, “I’ll only upset you if I’m in the hospital, so I won’t come.”

“If you have any needs, you can tell Miss Lin directly. I think, with the affection between you two, she will definitely be happy to satisfy you.”

She opened her eyes and picked up her phone. It was Sean’s attending doctor.

Amber hesitated, then answered it.

“Hello, Mrs. Smith?”

Amber paused for a moment, then replied, “Yes. Is something wrong with Sean?”

The doctor did not deny, “Mrs. Smith, we performed a check on Mr. Smith today.”

“When he had the allergy, I said that you should focus on Mr. Smith’s condition for 24 hours, but he used the wrong medicine again.”
