Please Go Away, Mr. Smith!
Please Go Away, Mr Smith! – Chapter 360: Mom, Can I Keep This Dog

The little girl pointed to a Pomeranian, “Mom, I want this one. Can you buy it for me!”

The longing in her eyes was too strong. Marcus unconsciously looked back at the golden retriever behind him.

The dog looked brave and a bit silly.

He liked it very much, but forgot to ask his nephew if she liked it.

After hesitating, the little girl’s mother bought the Pomeranian for her.

Marcus stood at the door and smoked. The shop owner asked him, “Mr. White, how are you going to take the dog away?”

Marcus answered irrelevantly, “What kind of dog do children like?”

The owner froze for a moment, “You buy a dog for a child?”

Marcus nodded.

“My sister’s child, a girl.”

“How old is she?”

“Over three years old.”

The owner was silent, and whispered, “If she is three years old, it’s not appropriate to send such a big golden retriever to her.”

“What if she is scared by it? I suggest you choose a smaller sized dog or give a golden retriever puppy to her.”

“Both Pomeranians and poodles are small and beautiful, and they are popular with children!”

Marcus looked at the owner, “Really?”

“Then I’ll buy a Pomeranian!”

“Do you also want this golden retriever?”

Marcus shook his head, “No.”

After coming out of the pet shop, Marcus bought a tiramisu for Cindy at the nearby dessert shop.

When he arrived at Xingyue Bay, Cindy was still sitting at the door. She was not crying anymore, but her face was sunburned.

Sean was no longer outside, but the door was not closed. Amber was sitting facing the door, making sure that she could see Cindy.

Marcus felt a little distressed for Cindy.

“What on earth have you done wrong? It’s getting dark. Why are you still outside?”

Cindy didn’t speak.

Marcus held the dog he bought for Cindy and showed it to her.

“Do you like it?”

The dog was white all over with black and shiny eyes, which was particularly cute.

“Yes.”

Cindy’s eyes lit up.

The Pomeranian was not big, and it was just right for her to hold it in her arms.

Cindy had her first puppy. She held it and kissed it.

Marcus smiled and whispered, “The dog is hungry. Shall we go in?”

“No matter what you did wrong, admit your mistake to your mom.”

Cindy was very stubborn, “I did nothing wrong.”

“But you can’t stay here forever!”

“Look at your face. You are sunburned. If you think you did nothing wrong, you can explain to your mother when she is not angry!”

“Sulking won’t solve the problem!”

Cindy thought what he said made sense and let him lead her into the door.

She held the dog in her hand. The looks in their eyes were exactly the same.

Amber, who was signing the document, paused and glanced at Marcus casually.

“Sister…”

Amber didn’t answer, “Mr. White, you should change your bad habit of acknowledging a relationship at random.”

Marcus lowered his head.

Amber looked at Cindy, “Do you know you were wrong?”

Cindy walked to the sofa, circled Sean’s neck, and whispered, “Dad, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t hang up on aunt Lin.”

“I shouldn’t have told her that she had the wrong number. I was wrong.”

“Don’t be angry with me.”

Marcus was dumbfounded.

He suddenly regretted it. If he had known that it was for this reason, he would not have persuaded her to apologize!

It was obvious that Lin Man was thinking about Sean!

Sean lifted his eyelids and said to Cindy, “Get off me. Oh, you stink. Take a shower yourself!”

Cindy curled her lips and slide down from Sean.

She didn’t have the slightest intention to take a bath, but hugged the dog that Marcus bought and asked, “Mom, can I keep this dog?”

Cindy blinked, staring at Amber eagerly.

She knew the dog was bought by Marcus at first glance.

Amber frowned slightly and refused, “You can’t even support yourself. How can you support a dog?”

Cindy looked at Sean, “Dad, please help me persuade mom. I want to keep it!”

Sean was working on a document, ignoring her directly.

He didn’t even raise his head.

Sean had a morbid fear of getting dirty. He was not interested in pets at all.

Besides, he would live here before he recovered.

It was unpleasant enough to face Amber and the little girl every day, and the dog would only upset him.

Cindy should be glad that he didn’t forbid her from keeping the dog directly.

Amber frowned, “If you really want to keep a dog, we’ll talk about it later!”

“Does this one have a health certificate?”

“Has it been vaccinated?”

Amber’s question was very direct, and her attitude obviously softened. Marcus took a step forward happily and said, “Yes!”

“And it’s been vaccinated. It’s safe!”

It seemed that Cindy really liked it.

Amber hesitated.

Sean suddenly said, “When you buy a dog, all the owners will tell you that it has been vaccinated!”

“If you really want to keep it, you have to go to a regular pet hospital and get it vaccinated again!”

After speaking, Sean was silent.

He was actually asking Amber to agree to Cindy’s pleading.

Amber glanced back at him, and then walked into the master bedroom.

Then she walked out with her wallet, and asked Marcus, “How much is it? I’ll give you the money.”

Marcus took two steps back, “No. I don’t want money…”

“Like I said before, the Smith Group will not cooperate with the White Group.”

Amber’s eyes were calm and not so cold anymore.

“I will not be irresponsible for my work just because you bought a dog for my daughter!”

“Cooperating with another company will bring more benefits to the Smith Group!”

Amber did not directly veto the cooperation with the White Group like last time.

Her attitude was so tough anymore. Marcus smiled. Buying this dog was worthwhile.

“Sister…”

“I’m not your sister.”

Marcus licked the corner of his mouth, and there was a little disappointment in his eyes.

“If you really want to achieve something in the White Group, modify your cooperation plan and sent it to other companies.”

“Even if you keep sending it to the Smith Group, I won’t approve it.”

Marcus was even more frustrated.

Sean sat there, as if he was watching a play.

Was Amber’s family addicted to playacting?

Wasn’t personal grievance the reason she refused to cooperate with the White Group?

How come she changed the reason in front of him?

Since Amber loved the Smith Group so much, should he give her an award of Best Employee?

Amber was coveting the Smith Group, right? She was like telling him that if she became the president of the Smith Group, she would do her best and choose the best partner for every cooperation?
