Please Go Away, Mr Smith! – Chapter 543:  Lin Man Hired the Rest of Them

Amber didn’t feel surprised, “So, Lin Man hired the rest of them?”

Sean paused, and whispered, “Don’t worry. She won’t make waves anymore.”

Amber smiled. Lin Man made such a desperate move. She actually told the media that Sean got b***d cancer!

She knew why Yolanda stopped her from going abroad. Yolanda was worried that she would take the White Group away. But why did Lin Man also do that?

Lin Man couldn’t get over Sean, but Sean obviously wanted to remarry her. If she stayed in the country, it wouldn’t do any good to Lin Man!

Why did Lin Man prevent her from going abroad?

“What did you do to Lin Man?”

Amber leaned against the wall, looking at Sean and asking in a low voice.

Her expression was casual and relaxed. Sean said with a slight smile, “I did nothing. I was recuperating in the hospital and had no time to deal with her!”

Amber figured out one thing, that was, Sean and Lin Man probably had fallen out. She thought Sean would solve the plagiarism thing for Lin Man.

After she thought about it carefully, she guessed it was probably a trap that Sean set up for Lin Man.

Since Lin Man didn’t want her to go abroad, she would stay and watch what would happen to her.

After such a long day, Amber was tired. She asked Sean which room she could stay in.

“I lived here alone, and the other rooms have not been cleaned up and have no mattresses. You can sleep in the master bedroom.”

Amber nodded, took clean clothes and went to the master bedroom. After taking a shower, she went to bed.

After Amber left, Cindy glanced at Sean suspiciously, “Dad, when I came here last time, there were clean rooms with matrasses in your house.”

The expression on Sean’s face cracked, and it took him a long time to stay calm. He looked at Cindy, “It has been a long time since the guest rooms were used, and the mattresses have become moldy. If your mom sleeps on it, small bugs would bite her and she would get sick.”

Cindy looked a little scared, “Really? Then forget about it. The parents of other children sleep together. Why don’t you sleep together?”

Sean pressed the corner of his lips and did not answer the question.

Sean lowered his head and kissed Cindy on the cheek.

Amber woke up after five o’clock in the afternoon. She went downstairs. Sean and Cindy were already making dinner in the kitchen.

Sean couldn’t cook. Cindy took a small stool and stood on it beside the sink, “Dad, wash the rice with water and put it in the pot to cook.”

“Mom likes this rape. Wash it… Dad, is there shrimps in the refrigerator? Do you know how to cook shrimps?”

“Yes.”

Cindy was instructing, and Sean did as she said.

The outside sunlight fell on his cheeks through the window, making him look tender.

The father was handsome and the daughter was cute. Amber had to admit that she melted a little inside.

In fact, she had already told Sean that as long as Sean needed it, she would donate bone marrow to him. He didn’t need to pretend to be nice to Cindy.

She was expecting to see this scene for more than ten years. Although she had closed her heart to Sean, she still gained satisfaction of reaching a long-cherished wish.

“Mom, mom! Dad is clumsy. I’m hungry. Can you make something for me?”

Sean hadn’t noticed Amber, but when he heard Cindy’s words, he turned back subconsciously.

Amber was standing at the door of the kitchen. She was wearing a black silk nightdress. Her slenderness was outlined by her nightdress perfectly.

Sean’s hand, holding the toothpick, clenched. He pressed his lips, and his heart contracted.

What would she say?

Would she ask him to leave? He knew she hated him!

How should he answer? He just wanted to have a meal with Cindy and would leave after eating?

Amber walked in and reached out to take the toothpick in his hand, “I’ll do it. What do you want to eat?”

Amber cleaned the rest of the shrimps neatly.

“I want a bowl of Egg Custard.”

Hearing this, Amber opened the refrigerator in Sean’s kitchen.

There were a lot of ingredients in it. She looked back at Sean with a hint of questionary look in her eyes.

“Anything will do.”

Amber nodded.

Sean and Cindy had the same likings. Amber planned to make a Tomato Sirloin, an Egg Custard, Boiled Squid Shreds, and Braised Eggplant. She made a Mapo Tofu for herself.

Sean had already cooked the porridge. Amber hesitated, put a bit of shredded chicken, and shredded mushrooms in the pot, and added a little salt.

Amber made the dishes quickly. Sean and Cindy brought them out.

Sean licked the corner of his lips and finally understood that Amber wasn’t going to drive him away. She even made his favorite dishes.

Amber filled their bowls with porridge.

Sean liked Tomato Sirloin, and so did Cindy. She kept picking up the dish for him.

The dishes Amber made were tasty and were eaten up in a while.
