Presiden's wild wife
Chapter95 Logan’s decision

Logan could only bury this pain in his heart as a secret. He could achieve anything except carrying his beloved woman. Why should fate be so cruel to him! When Elena woke up, she found Logan was not there. It was late night and she walked around barefoot before finding him in the study room.

"Logan?" she whispered. His lonely shadow made her somehow a bit sad.

Turning around slowly, Logan seemed happier to see her, "When did you wake up? Are you hungry now?"

She held his hand, "Minutes ago. Why didn't you wake me up?"

Of course he wouldn't wake her up. He hoped she slept soundly. After a while of silence, he said, "You may go downstairs. Mia prepared dinner for you." "Have you had it?" asked Elena. As she expected, he shook his head.

It seemed so quiet when they were having dinner together. Elena couldn't help but to secretly look at Logan. Finally she asked, " Logan, did Mason say something to you while I was sleeping?" "No, it's none of his business."

"Well." Then why was he so quiet today? What was upsetting him?

"Elena," said Logan trembling slightly, "Let's go to the doctor for my...legs tomorrow."

Elena felt surprised. She looked at him with such joy and excitement that she couldn't even speak right now.

Logan couldn't help laughing, "Yes or no?"

"Yes!" Elena answered at once, "Yes! Yes! Yes! Tomorrow morning!" Elena was too happy to eat anything and ran into his arms, "I can't wait for your recovery."

Logan smiled, "Thank you, baby."

The next morning, Elena took Logan to the hospital for examination. Jacob thought they intended to visit Mason, but then he saw they went straight to the neurology department. Jacob soon realized what was going on. When Logan was running the inspection, he walked towards Elena, "Thank you."

"What for?" she looked at him.

"Nah, I just thought Sir was so lucky to have you. Really lucky."

Once she showed up in Logan's life, he had changed little by little. He even decided to face his nightmare and was eager to get better for her. Jacob was so excited and happy for them. "Elena, are you here visiting dad?" Emma couldn't believe Elena was here and asked cautiously.

"Sorry, I am not," said Elena.

Seeing them waiting outside the neurology department, Emma couldn't help asking, "Is Logan doing examination here? Why? Is he able to stand up now?"

"I'm afraid it has nothing to do with you." Elena got a bit unhappy. She felt so uncomfortable hearing Emma's question as if she was regretting not to have married Logan in the first place. Maybe she was. "How come it has nothing to do with me? He's your husband. And you are my sister, remember?"

Elena sneered, "You'd better care about your own husband! You are having a divorce, right?"

"Shut up! You bitch!" Emma went furious instantly.

Jacob stepped forward to protect Elena in case that Emma went crazy and harmed her.

"Elena, who do you think you are? You are nobody without Logan!"

Elena laughed, "Better than you!" At least, she could rely on Logan, while Emma got nobody behind her.

Emma stared at her full of hate, "You will be dumped one day! I shall come and see you when he leaves you like throwing out the trash!"

"Well, before that, I will definitely live a better life than you!"

Without a word to say, Emma went back to the ward angrily.

Hearing Logan calling her, Elena calmed down and went to him at once. Logan was sitting in the wheelchair again. It seemed like the doctor had already finished the examination.

"What did the doctor say?" Elena asked carefully. She was so scared to hear the bad news and more afraid that Logan would be disappointed.

"No worries," Logan held her hand, "One day, I'm going to carry you myself and make the promise to you with the witness of the priest."

Elena burst into tears somehow. She didn't even know why.

"Don't cry." he wiped her tears gently.

Elena sobbed, "No, I just felt so lucky to have you in my life." She wiped off her tears, and smiled again, " I'm looking forward to that day already." When Elena and Logan were just about to leave, Mason appeared. He walked slowly to them in delight, "I heard that you were here. What a surprise!" Elena frowned. She knew that Emma might make up another story about her.

Before Elena said anything, Emma came out and said, "Dad, I told you they were not here for you! Why couldn't you believe me and came here anyway?" "You are here for me, right?" Mason asked again.

"I'm just here for examination. Not for you!" Elena replied coldly.

Mason felt stuck in sadness suddenly. He whispered, seeming to be lost in his memory, "Elena, you are exactly as cold as your mother when she left." Cold and indifferent in the same day, Elena's mother left without any hesitation.

Elena got even more impatient, "I have never met my mom. Why do you talk about her now? To make me feel bad? It's useless!"
