Princess Comeback -
Chapter 64 Davis Enterprise was not a charitable shelter
Then, the other end hung up.
She called back again, but it was a dead number.
As she walked, Sarah searched for the storage card in her bag. She couldn't find it anywhere. When she returned to the office and found every corner, she still didn't find it.
She recalled her experience in the hospital today, "Oh, no, I must have lost it at that time!"
Sarah dialed Brandon to ask a favor.
"I'm going to have an operation soon. I'll go to search after the operation. If I can't find it, I'll check the monitoring."
With Brandon's help, Sarah relaxed a lot.
Without Jacob, she was like a lost harbor. This little warmth made her feel relaxed a lot.
At the end of the day, the neck bracket on Sarah's neck attracted the attention of many colleagues, and they all came to care about her.
Sarah smiled and responded one by one. After getting out of the elevator, she went straight to take a taxi.
Generally, it was not easy to hail a taxi during rush hour.
Just as she was about to take a look at the online car-hailing queue, a car stopped in front of her.
The window rolled down, revealing Brian's face. "Miss Sarah, we've met again. Are you coming home from work?" Sarah was a little stunned, and she smiled, "Yes."
"Is your neck pain?"
She didn't know why Brian appeared at this time, but she had to be patient to talk to the assistant of Party A.
"I have a stiff neck."
Brian walked around the front of the car, stood beside her, and opened the back door.
"Miss Sarah, if you don't mind, let me take you home." Brian held out his hand very gentlemanly.
Sarah waved her hand, "That's too much trouble for you."
"That's OK. Our president asked me to do so."
Brian accidentally blurted out the truth. He took a look at Sarah and just caught her suspicious eyes.
Oh, no. He almost betrayed his boss.
After all, his boss still didn't want Miss Sarah to know his true identity.
He added: "Because you sent summer cold drinks to the construction site, the president criticized me for letting girls work more. I should thank you."
Unable to get rid of it, Sarah had to force herself to get in the car. "OK. I accept it."
"It was just a small thing." Brian closed the door, looked at a Bentley not far behind the car, and then got on.
When the car started, Sarah leaned against the back of the chair. The car was also equipped with a pillow, which made her feel comfortable when leaning back and relieved her waist fatigue.
As she gradually entered a state of enjoyment, Brian spoke.
"Miss Sarah, I met Emily today to buy medicine for you. Don't you usually have your bodyguard running errands for you?"
Why did so many people care about Jacob?
"He has resigned."
"That's a pity." Brian murmured in a low voice, as if he was more regrettable than Sarah, "According to my observations these days, Jacob is very dutiful to you."
"In terms of work, he is a good employer."
Sarah slightly hooked her lips, without denying it, and drew a picture of Jacob in her mind.
Realizing her trance, Sarah took a breath and tried to turn her head, but it hurt her neck.
"Miss Sarah, am I driving too fast?" Brian immediately braked gently, and the car slowed down.
"It's all right. I turned my head carelessly."
Sarah was too painful to speak too much.

Finally, he sent her home. Sarah wanted to invite him in for a drink of water, but Brian refused, saying he had something to do.
Seeing Sarah close the gate, Brian drove away, stopped at the intersection, and got off the car.
A tall and upright figure leaned on the nearby Bentley car body. He got rid of the identity of a bodyguard and was still the president of Jones Enterprise.
Seeing Brian coming, he asked, "What does she say?"
"Miss Sarah didn't mean to hire bodyguards or drivers anymore." Brian saw that Jacob did not respond, and then said, "In my opinion, she still has affection for you."
At least what she said after Jacob left was all praise for him.
His dark eyes were full of obscure emotions that couldn't be understood.
He repeatedly played with the small black card in his hand and murmured to himself.
"Really..."
A sudden phone ring pulled Jacob's thoughts back. He took a look at the caller ID: Mom.
"Mom, what's the matter?"
"Can't I call you if I'm fine?"
Although Mrs. Jones was over fifty, her voice was still somewhat girlish.
Jacob pursed his lips, "Of course."
"If you are free, go home to have a meal. Last night, I had a meal with your Uncle and others. They said that you have grown up a lot, but you came to Dover and didn't go home. Was it appropriate?" "It was not suitable," Jacob said. "I'll come back for dinner in the evening."
"OK, mom asked someone to prepare your favorite food for you."
Mrs. Jones hung up the phone happily.
Jacob's expression cooled down quickly and he said coldly,

Two and a half hours later, Jacob walked back to the old house at night.
The old house was brightly lit and antique. Jacob walked through the corridor and entered the house.
"Young Master, welcome home." The housekeeper bowed down to welcome him.
Jacob nodded, "Housekeeper, where are my grandpa and my mother?"
"The master, madam and your brother are waiting for you in the restaurant."
The steward smiled kindly and glared at Jacob. Jacob's recent new investment project became popular, which was a good example in the business circles of Dover.
It could be seen from the steward's expression that his grandfather was in a good mood today. Even though the dinner had been delayed for half an hour, his grandfather was still not angry. Only because Jacob came back tonight.
Standing at the entrance of the restaurant, Jacob politely said, "Grandpa, Mom, I'm sorry I'm late."
"I just told your mother. Don't let you go back and forth when you are busy with your work. How tired you are! Sit down quickly."
Mr. Old Jones pointed to the empty seat to let him sit down.
The opposite of Jacob was Mrs. Jones. He lifted his eyes and smiled quietly. "Mom misses me. Of course, I'll come back and pay a visit." "Brother is worthy of being the elite of the business circle. In a few words, he finds a reason for not returning home."
Joseph spoke gloomily. He created difficulties on purpose, and the dining room was silent for a while.
"Joseph, your brother is too busy with his work. Don't talk nonsense."
Mrs. Jones unconsciously defended Jacob, which made Joseph even more obstinate.
"I just said something you don't know. Brother, I heard Miss Sarah refused you?"
"Jacob, do you have something to do with the Davis family?" Old Master Mr. Jones asked seriously, and he seemed to contain his anger.
"We have cooperation, and it is normal for us to work together. Does my brother want to work for me?"
