Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 729
Tinkling!
As the lift slowly opened, Emily walked out as if she just came to herself.
She spent quite a while finding the keys. As soon as she pulled out the keys, she heard Simon's voice came, "Emily, where have you been in the middle of the night? Why did you come back so late?" Emily raised in a daze and saw Simon standing in front of the security door.
Simon put out the cigarette in his mouth. There were already several used cigarettes on the floor beside his leather shoes. It seemed that Simon had already been back for quite a while. Emily pointed at him and asked a silly question, "What are you doing here?"
"This is my home. If I'm not here, where should I be?" Simon looked at her from above and said with his tone sounded righteous and confident.
"Why are you standing outside?" Emily blinked her eyes.
Simon said, annoyed, "I'm waiting for you!"
Stunned, Emily swallowed her saliva and said, "I thought you would..."
"I would what?" Simon slowly raised his eyebrows.
Emily thought that he would stay at the hotel to accompany Addy tonight...
Emily pursed her lips, turned her face away abruptly, and said, "Nothing!"
She held the key tightly and wanted to pass him to open the door. As soon as she twisted the lock and walked inside, she felt warmth on her shoulder. Simon hugged her from behind. Because they were close, she could feel his breath on her neck, "Mrs. Chin, I smell jealousy!"
"I'm not jealous!" Emily was so provoked that she almost jumped up.
As soon as she blurted it out, she felt very embarrassed. She already gave herself away by getting provoked like that.
As expected, Simon's eyes were full of mischievous smiles. He said teasingly, "Well, you are not jealous. You are only annoyed!"
"I don't understand what you're talking about!" Emily mumbled. Then she ran in, stumbling with her slippers.
After taking a shower from the bathroom, she felt warmed and refreshed as the coldness she caught from outside went away.
After she dried her hair, she sat at the bedside. Simon, who only had a bath towel on him, walked in from the kitchen with a cup of warm water in his hand. He handed it to Emily and also gave her two capsules that were red and white.
"What is it?"
Emily raised her hand and saw Simon was saying, "When you come back, your nose is red. Take two capsules. Otherwise, you'll get a bad cold tomorrow!"
"Okay!" Stunned for a moment, she reached out her hand and took it.
As she lowered his head to drink the water, she smiled secretly.
She saw the bloodstains on Simon's right hand had already gone after the shower. However, it was red and swollen, making Simon unable to clench. Intentionally, Simon frowned and took a deep breath, "Hiss".
Emily held on for a while, finally got up, and walked to the closet.
She opened it, took out the first aid kit, and walked over to him with the kit in her hand. Sitting next to him on the end of the bed, she grabbed his right hand, took out the disinfectant water and ointment, and carefully applied them on his wounds with a cotton swab.
As Emily applied the ointment, she frowned and said, "Your hand is very swollen. I don't think you can hold an operation knife, right?"
"No, I can't," Simon also frowned and said in a low voice, "I need to swift shifts with my colleague for a few days and work at the office!"
It was the first time that Emily saw a man injured his hand in a fight. Seeing his broken knuckles, she felt distressed. She looked at him and said, "Simon, do you feel pain? Do you want me to be more gentle?" "Just a minor wound!" Simon said lazily.
Hearing that, Emily's looked cold. She deliberately poked the cotton swab at his wound. Simon was caught off guard and suddenly cried out in pain, "Mrs. Chin, you are killing me!" "Serves you right. You shouldn't have gone to a fight." She pouted and snorted.
Although she said so, she was more gentle when she took care of his wound. When she was about to finish, she lowered her head and blew on it so that the ointment on his hand could be absorbed faster. When he raised his head, he put his palm on her head. He seemed to pause for a moment before he said, "Addy was just too drunk to have said those words tonight!"
"Oh," Emily replied in a low voice.
He was explaining to her...
Simon rubbed her soft long hair hard until it got messy, raised the corner of his mouth cockily, and said, "You left the hotel without me. Why did you come back so late? I've been waiting for you for a long time!" As soon as he left the hotel, he stepped on the gas and drove home fast.
However, he found that there was no light on the window. When he opened the door, it was dark inside, indicating that she had not yet returned home. He called her but her phone was off. Then he went out to look for her but could not find her. At last, he stood at the door, waited, and thought to himself, "If she does not come back soon, I will call the police right away!
As Emily's hair was messed up, she looked like a lunatic. Slightly annoyed, she raised her hand, wanting to push him away. However, after he told her what happened, she couldn't help but immediately fall into his attractive eyes. There was no lazy frivolousness in his eyes but deep love.
She held her breath and was lost in his eyes for a moment.
She faked a cough, pouted, and said, "I went for a walk!"
"It's late at night. Were you walking with a ghost?" Simon gave her a sidelong glance.
Emily rolled her eyes and said with duplicity, "I just think the night view is beautiful. I haven't had a walk for a long time, and I missed walking around. When I passed by a small square, I took a rest for a while and ran into Bo..."
Realizing what she was going to say, Emily quickly stopped.
"Who did you run into?" Simon asked with his eyes narrowed.
"No one!" Emily scratched her head and said.
Simon put his arm around her body, approaching her, half- naked. He said in a flirtatious tone, "Emily, do you believe that I have a hundred ways to make you tell me the truth?"
Emily shrank her shoulders and thought, "His so-called one hundred ways would make me unable to get off the bed..."
"It was Boyd!" She blurted in a frightened voice.
"How come you ran into him!" Simon frowned and said.
"How would I know!" Emily spread her hands and said openly, "He handed me some tissue, said a few words, and left!"
"How many words did he say?" Simon asked in a deep voice.
"Four or five words!" Emily shrugged and said.
Simon frowned a bit more and asked, "How many words exactly did he say?"
Annoyed by his question, Emily glared at him and replied, "Hey, Simon, can you be a little fair? It is okay for you to see Addy, but it is not right for me to run into Boyd? Besides, Boyd and I did not hold hands!" When Simon heard that, he suddenly looked flirtatious and vicious under the light.
He touched her nose with his slender and jade-like hand and said, "You are jealous!"
Emily opened her mouth, wanting to retort. But Simon suddenly bent down and blocked her mouth with kisses.
He was kissing her so hard that he pushed her down on the bed.
Lost in kissing and caressing, he said to her, "You are different from her."
