Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master -
Chapter 168 Hidden Strength
Standing guard outside Jackson's room, two spirit manipulators saw a flashing black figure. Suddenly, it stopped in front of them. Once they recognized that it was Rocky they both stepped intimidatingly forward, laughing in distain. "Ha-ha! How are you doing, popular loser captain? So? How dare you bother us right now! If you don't want to get hurt, get lost immediately!”
Rocky recognized they were manipulators from the first squad, who had a strength of the fifth grade of Mortal Stage.
"No!" Sue's desperate scream rang out from inside the room.
"Get away!" Rocky shouted at them coldly, his rage surging up at the sound of Sue's pitiful cries. "Idiot! Matthew is busy now. You'd better not enter the room, otherwise you're a dead man. Move, now! We don't want to hurt you, even though you are a piece of trash. Leave if you want to keep your limbs intact. After Matthew enjoys the girl, it's our turn to have a good time. We don't have time to play with you.” They laughed shamelessly. But their words fell on deaf ears
At the sound of Matthew's name, Rocky burst out with an aura of pure rage. He emitted a powerful force, which began to surround the two manipulators.
They were utterly taken by surprise. How could he suddenly summon this strength!?
"Uriah!" Rocky shouted. He had no plans to waste time with these two soldiers. Saving Sue was his most pressing matter.
Uriah roared at the manipulators, howling as he stampeded towards them. They were frightened and stepped to the side right away.
Rocky broke into the room, finding Jackson lying in blood with his eyes closed. Matthew was on top of Sue, whose clothes were ripped and roughly pulled away.
"Matthew!" Rocky yelled. He promptly rushed forward and accumulated all of his power to fist and struck Matthew with a punch that flung him far away.
"Bang!" Matthew was thrown out of the room, crashing through the wall beside the bed before he could even figure out why Rocky was here.
"Are you all right, Sue?" "I'm fine.” Rocky immediately rushed to grab a sheet and covered her.
"I'm fine. But Grandpa..." Choking with sobs, Sue embraced Rocky when he approached her, bursting into tears
"Calm down. It's ok, it's ok. You just stay here and don't go out," Rocky instructed her. Seething with anger, he rapidly went out.
The spirit manipulators outside had been beaten badly by Uriah. One of them was rolling on the ground, bleeding from the side of his head where his ear had been completely bitten off by Rubygon.
Meanwhile, Matthew lay groaning on the ground. He was still totally perplexed about why Rocky had suddenly appeared and done this. In his mind, the loser shouldn't have such power. Badly injured, Matthew stood up and realized that Rocky was standing over him.
"You? What are you doing here!?" Matthew asked full of surprise, and still couldn't believe Rocky beat him out of the room with his current strength. But he did feel a strong spiritual power that was far beyond his own strength. He couldn't wrap his head around the reality that Rocky was now much more superior to him.
The two manipulators, blubbering in a complete mess, crawled to Matthew like dogs looking for their master. Their eyes were brimming with hatred of Rocky. How could his beasts have beaten them up like this!?
"Matthew, let's teach this guy a lesson. How dare he ruin your night!” The two manipulators tried to goad Matthew into fighting back. Though today Rocky was not the loser they usually thought to be, they were reassured that Rocky would still be no match for Matthew, no matter how strong he might be. They were still in denial that Rocky had managed to punch Matthew out of the room even though they witnessed it.
"Bastard, how dare you ruin my good time! What are you waiting for, you two? Go after him!" Matthew fiercely shouted at the manipulators after hearing what they said. Mad as he was, he was worried about the possibility of him being no match for Rocky. So he decided to use the two soldiers as an experiment to gauge just how strong their opponent was.
Receiving the order, the two frightened guys looked at each other, hesitating to move as they took a glance at Uriah behind Rocky. As they had lost the fight against Uriah, they began to wonder how such a big loser like Rocky could have such a powerful spirit-manipulated beast. Thus they were afraid to strike first, afraid of bearing the brunt of the beasts rage.
"I will finish this on my own," Rocky murmured quietly to Uriah as he turned around, rushing at Matthew and the other manipulators.
The two manipulators saw Rocky coming without Uriah and were delighted. They thought that they could beat him up and prove to Matthew they weren't weak and useless! The shame Uriah caused to them would be avenged on Rocky, and they were sure of it! They applied their skilled spiritual martial arts, summoning spiritual power. It seemed they weren't complete trash at all. Standing in a row before Rocky, they were ready to launch their strike.
Rocky was calmly standing still as they ran towards him. He raised his arms at will and spiritual clouds emerged before his chest, accumulating formidable spiritual power in the blink of an eye. The running manipulators couldn't believe Rocky would have such unimaginable spiritual power. Matthew, who stood behind them, broke out in a cold sweat. He was utterly horrified and prayed it was all just a dream.
