Chapter 171 The Revelation

"How could this be possible? He has reached the sixth grade of the Mortal Stage?" No one could believe what they had seen. They didn't expect Rocky, someone they had always despised, to turn out to be so powerful and spirited.

While these people gasped in silence, Rocky grabbed the wrist of the spirit manipulator tightly and twisted it in a way that broke his arm.

Following the sound of the bone cracking was an agonized scream full of pain. His face turned pale immediately and he was left vulnerable and exposed. Rocky pounced on the opportunity and kicked him away.

"It was because of all this hidden strength and vigor that even Matthew lost to him." Evan was also surprised to know about Rocky's true potential. Now he understood why Rocky was capable of killing two spirit manipulators at the fifth grade of the Mortal Stage.

The other three spirit manipulators from the first team in front of Rocky were both shocked and enraged to see him hurting their friends. It irritated them that Rocky had concealed his strength earlier, but didn't mind using it now. A short man at the sixth grade of the Mortal Stage noticed Rocky involved in the last fight and decided to use his hidden powers to reach him. Suddenly. he turned himself into a streak of light and dashed towards Rocky.

Rocky saw that, but didn't make a move. His spiritual power grew more and more intense every moment and he landed in the seventh grade of the Mortal Stage. A cloud of shining substances formed at the center of his palm and radiated its glow in all directions. With a thundering sound, his cloud of glow collided with the light of the short man. Seeing Rocky's spiritual power increase even further, all the people stood there rooted to the ground, with their mouths wide open in shock. That short man hadn't expected Rocky to be so powerful. He too was frozen with awe.

Rocky appeared in front of him, as if he came out of nowhere. Wailing and screeching, the man flew backwards, spitting blood. He landed roughly on the ground and found himself terribly injured. Seeing another one of his men injured, Evan's expression became grim. His eyes blazed with fury and vengeful desire.

"Kill him! Everyone!" Evan shouted out to the remaining two spirit manipulators from the first team. He was bewildered at Rocky's constantly improving strength and now, he was left with no choice but to order his men to continue to fight for the honor of his team. He wouldn't accept humiliation and disgrace brought upon himself by Rocky.

On command, the two spirit manipulators exchanged lethal looks before flinging themselves at Rocky.

Both of them were at the seventh grade of the Mortal Stage. They thought if they worked together, Rocky wouldn't be able to cope with them since he was at the seventh grade as well.

But, Rocky proved them wrong instantly.

Rocky's eyes were cold with viciousness and rage as his spiritual power continued to multiply. He reached the eighth grade of the Mortal Stage in almost no time.

"The eighth grade?!" Everyone was stunned by Rocky's power. The growth seemed absolutely unnatural and unbelievable.

Rocky just stood still while his power snowballed nonstop.

In the blink of an eye, he reached the ninth grade of the Mortal Stage.

People were rendered speechless by that scene and the way they looked at Rocky changed.

"How could it be possible?" Evan murmured with his eyes open wide in shock. Instantly, he felt something in the pit of his stomach. It wasn't good.

When Rocky's power reached the ninth grade of the Mortal Stage, the two spirit manipulators felt scared and their movement slowed down. Slowing of their movement led to a fatal defect.

A strong spate of power was emitted from Rocky and it enveloped the two horror-struck spirit manipulators.

Rocky narrowed his eyes and disappeared out of thin air.

At the same time, a beam of light appeared in front of one of the spirit manipulators from the first team. He made a quick response by letting out his spiritual power towards that beam of light, but it vanished in an instant. He felt that he was being watched. He turned his head back hurriedly but found nobody. He checked everywhere, looking for that beam of light. In that moment, a strong robust hand attacked his chest with great force. Unable to defend himself, he fell to the floor, splashing a pall of dust.

The other spirit manipulator was scared at this scene. His face went pale with fear. Although he was at the seventh grade of the Mortal Stage, he was deprived of courage in the formidable presence of Rocky.

"I quit. I quit!" That seventh-grade spirit manipulator shouted, as if begging for mercy. He flew in the opposite direction and cleared out of sight in a heartbeat.

Everyone's mind suddenly went blank. Among the four spirit manipulators from the first team, three were dead and one ran away. The one who brought about this, turned out to be a spirit manipulator whom they had always regarded as a nobody.

"We had no idea that our captain was invincible!" Thor and Joss gawked at Rocky with pure admiration.

"All of them are useless!" Evan was dejected after seeing four of his men losing to Rocky without a scratch on him.

"The ninth grade of the Mortal Stage? Looks like I didn't know you after all," Evan said to Rocky with a cold twisted smile. He was surprised at the real potency of Rocky, but he also believed that he, at the third grade of the Earthly Stage could definitely kill Rocky, if he wanted to.

"Cut the crap. Come on!" Rocky looked at Evan coldly, knowing that Evan would confront him on instigation. Rocky was never afraid of him, even when he was at the second grade and Evan, third.

It was true that Rocky didn't dread a spirit manipulator at the third level of the Earthly Stage after having killed two spirit manipulators at the middle grade of the Heavenly Stage.

It was even more shocking to see Rocky provoke Evan who was among the top five rank in the whole military camp and whose team was the strongest one. No one would fight him, but Rocky dared to challenge him in such a calm manner, which was almost demeaning for Evan.

Evan swelled with rage at that attitude. He thought the ninth grade of the Mortal Stage was the highest limit Rocky could reach. He didn't think that Rocky had the strength to reach the Earthly Stage.

All of a sudden, Evan gathered his spiritual power which reached the first grade of the Earthly Stage instantly. He was surrounded by glowing spiritual light and the presence he was holding couldn't be matched by the power at the Mortal Stage.

Just then, a deep roar filled the air.

It seemed that Evan didn't want to waste any time. He used the power at the first grade of the Earthly Stage to attack Rocky, considering it would be enough for him.

"Flying Cloud Punch!" Evan yelled and wielded his hands in the air. Streaks of energy broke out and rushed towards Rocky.

Seeing the spiritual martial arts, people thought Rocky would be undoubtedly, defeated. Rocky, at the ninth grade of the Mortal Stage, couldn't stand a chance in front of Evan, at the Earthly Stage. Defeating their certainty, sparkling lights appeared around Rocky and his spiritual power which had been at the ninth grade of the Mortal Stage suddenly moved to the Earthly Stage exponentially. "What?! The Earthly Stage?! He is at the Earthly Stage!" Everyone stood still. After all, a warrior at the Earthly Stage was a legend here.

"Nebula Cloud Transformation!" Rocky used fatal powers of the spiritual martial arts to tackle Evan's attack.

Grumble!

In an instant, glistening lights exploded between Rocky and Evan and the waves of the spiritual power rippled in all directions.

A fight between spirit manipulators at the Earthly Stage was a rare occurrence, so all the people there were thoroughly hooked and amazed.

After one round of attacks, both Rocky and Evan were still standing where they had been, unharmed and unmoved.
