But if he hears about this, he'll promote you, and this time, you won't be able to refuse. However, considering your performance during the Army Flag Contest, I've been worried about..." Marin hesitated for a moment, seemed not sure what to say next.

"Marin, just tell me straight out!" Rocky snapped, with a suspicion about what she was so worried about.

"It's just that...I know you don't want to go to the base camp. And since you don't want to be there, I can try and cover this up for you. Because if you get promoted, you'll be transferred there and I know you don't want that. But if you disobey the Commander in Chief again... think you know what will happen. "What is it, then? Are you looking to get back at me for something? Would like to see me dance in apron?” Rocky asked sarcastically, his tone light.

"If that's what you want; the deals up to you!" Marin grinned smugly, rather certain that Rocky would make a deal with her.

"And if my answer was 'no'?" Rocky squinted his eyes suspiciously, having that distinct feeling that Marin was up to something. But he was well aware that if he didn't cut a deal with her, things could get very troublesome for him later on.

"Well, if you say no, I'll just go ahead and make my report, and then your promotion order will be issued within three days. Then I will take you to the base camp. I mean, I'm guessing that you're hiding something or doing things in secret. You don't seem like you're in a position to leave the northeast military camp. Once you leave here, it'll be pretty difficult for you to come back again," Marin replied breezily. She was fairly sure that Rocky would acquiesce to the deal this time. A little spark of revenge brought her delight.

Rocky frowned at this, knowing that he was trapped. There was simply no choice but to make a deal with Marin. If he left northeast military camp, his plans would be for naught.

"Okay, alright! Deal. What did you want from me?" Rocky finally conceded.

"Honestly? I've no ideas for now. But don't worry; I'll let you know once I come up with something.” Marin could scarcely conceal her delight.

Rocky got to his feet and glared at her directly. He took one stride, standing in front of Marin before he smirked. "You'd better come up with something, or I'll do it for you. Maybe I'll have you dance in an apron again.”

"You..." Marin flushed to her scalp and flustered at Rocky's teasing.

Rocky grinned, thinking that Marin was cuter when she was like this. He laughed and strolled out of the camp. Marin stomped her feet furiously, still flushed.

The Crimson Dragon Group sent word to the Palace City that northern sky military camp was attacked by the Timber Deity Empire. The emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire grew livid at the outrage. He thought that the Timber Deity Empire was making unspeakable transgressions against them, which was a disgrace and an insult. He thus issued a royal order immediately: the Holy Dragon Empire has declared war against the Timber Deity Empire and will now make a show of intimidation against them.

Lance, the Commander in Chief of the Crimson Dragon Group, had deployed all his troops. He gathered six military camps on Gehenna Border along with fifty thousand soldiers from the base camp. He brought them all to the border of the Timber Deity Empire.

The Holy Dragon Empire declared war, just as the Timber Deity Empire had hoped. Alyssa came to border with forty thousand soldiers, defended her place there and faced the Crimson Dragon Group army head on.
