Chapter 303 The Great Beauty

"Lad, what's the matter?" Sheridan said as he patted Rocky's shoulder. It seemed that Rocky was busy thinking about something.

"Oh, nothing! Aren't you going to take me to the brothel you usually visit?" Rocky smiled and shook his head.

"Ugh, you must be impatient! Ha-ha! Come on, let's go!" Sheridan burst into laughter and led Rocky through a walk on the Flower Street.

Along the way, Rocky was amazed by the different styles of beauty that he kept encountering.

"Man, these are too ordinary! Just wait till I show you what real beauty looks like," Sheridan said with what seemed to be an experienced look and tone.

"Oh! Okay." Rocky smiled calmly. In fact, he wasn't sure Sheridan had a right standard for great beauty. He had seen a few women who were really beautiful, including Lena, Marcia, Shirley and Isis. Though Marin's appearance couldn't be on a par with them, she had her own lasting appeal. And, to be honest, she was as hot as hell.

That is to say, Rocky had seen all the great beauties of the Holy Dragon Empire. Thus, he had no doubt that the beautiful women in the brothel would not impress him.

While Rocky thought about all of this, he suddenly realized that they had reached the very crowded brothel already. So, now was the time to see if his thoughts were correct.

The brothel was called the Geisha House. It was the most famous brothel in the Evian City, and was also known as the Top Brothel. The naming was a result of the fact that some famous geishas from other empires would come to it to demonstrate their talents; so many dignitaries and men of letters would come for them out of admiration.

Consequently, this place was fully occupied on a daily basis.

When they walked into it, a pretty and coquettish woman at her thirties walked up to them. Though she looked a bit old, she was still retaining her graceful bearing as a mature woman.

The woman grabbed Sheridan affectionately, and loudly said, "You old devil, now you're finally here!"

"Yasmin, I have been dying to come to you.” Sheridan smiled, looking at her with explicit lust. Seeing Sheridan's expression, Rocky was certain that Sheridan had slept with her before.

"Who is this delicious man?" Yasmin asked when she finally noticed Rocky who was standing beside Sheridan. Though Rocky was in a suit of cloth, he still looked brilliant.

"Oh, he is my disciple. I bring him here to open his eyes to the real world," Sheridan said with a smile.

"Your disciple, you say? He looks so young. Shall I introduce a girl to him?" Yasmin said while staring at Rocky with eyes full of desire.

"Let's discuss it later. We prefer to watch the show first,” Sheridan said after taking a glance at Rocky.

"As you like. How about your usual seat? I guess you will come tonight, so I leave it for you," Yasmin said. She personally led Rocky and Sheridan to the second floor and offered them a table by the railings.

From there, they could see the whole area of the first floor. They were also able to see the dancing and playing that took place on the stage of the first floor. Without making any effort, they could clearly enjoy observing all the beautiful women in the building.

"You must be a frequent guest here. Even the pimp serves you in person, and reserves a special seat for you,” Rocky sighed. Rocky was convinced that Sheridan was a frequent visitor of this place due to Yasmin's affectionate welcome that had nothing to do with this place's policy. Her welcoming was purely friendly and not at all formal.

"Not really. I come here occasionally to give medical pieces of advice and write prescriptions to the girls here for free. You can say that I'm the doctor here,” Sheridan replied jokingly.

"I never thought that you would be okay with philanthropic work!" Rocky exclaimed.

"Though they have been reduced as prostitutes, they are all miserable women. So I help them whenever I can. Anyway, I'm just an old man with no wife, so I do that to kill my time. Besides, here I could drink good wine, enjoy dainty dishes, and see beautiful girls, so why not?" Sheridan said. While having this conversation, food and drink had been served on the table. Then, two teenage girls approached them.

"Sheridan, why are you so late? We have missed you a lot,” the two girls said in a cute voice while gently stroking Sheridan.

"Ha-ha. I have missed you too, ladies.” Sheridan gave a loud laugh and said, "This is my disciple.” Upon hearing that, the girls immediately gathered around Rocky. They went on speaking to him in their cute sweet voice. Instead of being bashful, Rocky stretched his arms and embraced both of them.

Shortly after, the lights of the building dimmed.

"Here she comes," Sheridan said as he eagerly looked at the stage downstairs.

Rocky also looked in the direction that Sheridan did. The dancing had stopped there, and behind a curtain, you could see a pretty woman with a Chinese zither put in front of her. Natural and smooth music played; it kept changing its pace over and over again to the extent that you could mistake it as a murmur of a stream. This sound offered people a sense of well-being and delight.

"What a beautiful song..." Rocky sighed in astonishment.

"The girl's name is Laney. She is the starring prostitute here who doesn't sell her body. A few months ago, she came here from the Timber Deity Empire. She used to be a famous prostitute there. She is excellent in lyre-playing, chess, calligraphy and painting. I heard that she is one of the three great beauties in the Timber Deity Empire. When the song was over, she stood up and left.

As she moved, the people in the house stirred up as if they were in a riot. They pushed ahead in eagerness to reach the stage.
