"If I didn't say that, then you all would have been still shirking your responsibilities and wouldn't even dare to fight even when the army of the Timber Deity Empire arrives in the city,” Marin replied with a sneer.

Upon hearing this Commander Ron got a little embarrassed

"Commander Marin, whether or not we would be able to defend the Evian City this time is a matter of great importance. It is associated with the reputation of the Crimson Dragon Group and also the safety of the Holy Dragon Empire. So, we may have to think twice before we make our move," Commander Ron explained. Commander Ron didn't say anything, but just shook his head, letting out a sigh. Then he turned around and went back to the base camp.

Upon returning to the base camp, Commander Ron explained to the other commanders about what Commander Marin had said. Hearing this they all were completely astonished.

"How dare she was to fool us like this. She really has no respect to us," Flank fumed with anger. Predictably, the other commanders were also angry.

"Actually, Commander Marin may be right. It seems that the Commander in Chief wouldn't make it back, and Rocky was nowhere to be found. So, we have to work together for figuring out a way to guard the city,” Commander Wang said after careful consideration.

All the commanders were also in agreement with him.

Then all the commanders began to brainstorm for ideas. However, each of them believed that his idea was the best and didn't agree on others’ ideas. In the end, what happened there was just furious argument and glaring upon each other.
