"Find another way!" the commander in red ordered angrily.

The army of the Timber Deity Empire retreated to another path, but it was obvious that they had been delayed for quite a while.

Rocky looked pleased, as he surveyed his enemies. He successfully blocked the army of the Timber Deity Empire, and they were forced to make a detour. With a satisfied smile, Rocky left with Uriah and the Rainbow Glow Unicorn.

By this time, Sabina had already led away some city guards in the northeast. They retreated into the training field with complicated terrain. While Rocky was stalling the army of the Timber Deity Empire, she had quickly chosen a gorge that was easy to defend but difficult to attack. With the time they had, she ordered her men to build some simple defensive barricades and various traps. Soon, the army of the Timber Deity Empire caught up with the city guards. They expected to easily break whatever defensive line the guards of Evian City had set. To their surprise, the defensive line of Evian City stood strong against all their powerful attacks. To make matters worse, the Timber Deity Empire's casualties increased sharply because of the city guards’ very good defense. The morale of the city guards surged to unprecedented levels as they fought, which made it difficult for them to defeat.

Sabina ferociously led the army of Evian City in their defense. Meanwhile, Sabina's other companions also joined forces with Duchess Silver to cover the army's defense. Once they received the orders, the southwestern part of the army of the Timber Deity Empire left two thousand military forces and a commander to guard those who had surrendered. The other commander led the rest of the military forces to the northwest.

On the flip side, the commanders finally admitted that Rocky was a genius. He was able to accurately foretell the movement of the opposing army. He had told them ahead of time that only two thousand military forces would be left to guard them. They sighed in relief, as they realized that things were going according to their plans. Now, they would have to lead the soldiers of Evian City to fight against the remaining army of the Timber Deity Empire.
