Don't you care about the safety of the people in your empire?" Rocky asked. Alston would endanger the entire Holy Dragon Empire just so he could kill him. This was truly insane.

It never entered my mind that the eldest prince of the Holy Dragon Empire would betray his own country just to settle the score with a man. I truly feel sorry for the Holy Dragon Empire!" Woods glared at Alston with hate.

"Shut up!” Alston said furiously.

"You have the boldness to start a war, but you don't have the courage to let the others know? As the eldest prince of the Holy Dragon Empire, you do not support a talent like Rocky, and you even want to kill him. No wonder the Holy Dragon Empire is no match for the Timber Deity Empire,” Woods continued. His face showed no emotion. He was not afraid of Alston at all.

"Humph! The Holy Dragon Empire doesn't give a damn about your Timber Deity Empire. You will soon witness the power of our Holy Dragon Empire,” Alston said in a proud voice.

"If you become the emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire, eventually the empire will be destroyed. Thanks to you!" In Rocky's eyes, Alston was like a lunatic.

"Ha-ha! Brother, are you really going to fight me on this? A loser like you has no place on the throne. You don't even have the right to argue with me. Don't even think about it!" Alston laughed uncontrollably.

"Brother?" The word stunned Woods. He looked at Rocky, looking for an answer. He had no idea Rocky and Alston were brothers.

"Yes, I am also a prince of the Holy Dragon Empire,” Rocky said in a calm voice. There was nothing more to hide at this point.

"You are also a prince of the Holy Dragon Empire? Now I understand. No wonder he's doing everything to kill you. Without a doubt, you are a great threat to him. With your proven skills and leadership, you are more suitable to become the next emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire. You have a big heart while he is ruthless and evil. "I would rather die in his hands than in yours. You are nothing but a lunatic,” Woods said calmly, and then turned to look at Rocky.

Rocky kept his eyes on Sue. His feelings were messed up. Right now, there was a chance for him to escape. But it meant sacrificing her life. He could never leave her behind.

"Rocky, if you don't do it, I will do it. I will kill Sue!" Alston laughed as he tightened his grip on her throat. A painful expression appeared on Sue's face.

Rocky glared at Alston, as hate filled his heart.

"Is that girl really so important to you?" Woods asked. He looked at Rocky and found the answer on his face. It was red with anger and he could see through the pain in his eyes. Woods knew the answer to his question.

Rocky remained quiet and motionless, but the look in his eyes explained everything.

"It looks like I am at death's door." Woods bowed his head and smiled. He did not expect things to turn out like this. He did not want to die this way.

"I'm sorry. I don't have a choice.” Rocky's voice faltered as he spoke. The light in his eyes dimmed. "If this is my fate, then so be it. It's an honor to die in your hands.” Woods closed his eyes and remained calm. He was not afraid of death.

Rocky turned to look at Alston and asked, "If I kill him, will you release Sue?"

"That's right.” Alston nodded.

"But why should I believe you?" asked Rocky.

"All right, in the spirit of brotherhood, I will let her go so she can stand between us. The moment you kill Woods, she can run towards you." Alston sounded kind and selfless. He then released Sue and threatened, "Stand between me and Rocky. Don't you dare do anything foolish if you don't want your dear Mr. Bai to die."

Sue's face was deathly pale and her body trembled in fear. She was not afraid to die, but it terrified her that Rocky might die because of her. She walked towards Rocky slowly until she was more than ten steps away from him.

"That's enough!" Alston shouted and gestured for her to stop.

Sue stopped and fixed her eyes on Rocky.

Rocky could see Sue's body shaking, and he could read the fear in her eyes. He hated seeing her like this and tried to assure her, "Sue, do not be afraid. I will let nothing happen to you."

"Mr. Bai, please don't do this. Just go! They will not let you go even if you kill Prince Woods!" Sue tried to convince Rocky. She knew this was part of Alston's plan. He would kill Rocky, come what might.

"It doesn't matter. I will take you away.” Rocky understood the truth behind Sue's words and fear. All the same, he had to make sure she was safe.

He then turned to look at Woods.

"Just do it. We will meet again in the afterlife. I hope next time you will not refuse my kindness," Woods said calmly. His words pierced through Rocky's heart. He was not afraid of death. His sad fate had been written in the stars, and there was nothing else he could do right now. His three bodyguards were useless, unable to protect themselves. He himself did not have the strength to defend himself. He just wanted to die swiftly and avoid the pain that came with death.

At this moment, Rocky finally realized the reason Woods wanted to take him back to the Timber Deity Empire. It was not just a gesture of appreciation, but also trust. But unfortunately now he needed to make a choice and protect Sue from harm.
