Chapter 75: The Edge of Chaos

"You told me you wouldn't let them get married but their wedding is tomorrow. He should be getting married to me! He should be with me!" Kiera shouted with tears in her eyes. "I told him to get married to you but I cannot control who he falls in love with," he laughed.

"I will expose you. I will tell everyone what you have done. All your hard work will go down the drain," Kiera shouted with tears in her eyes.

"Get out! You really think you can threaten me?" he asked with a mocking smile.

"Have you forgotten I own you? Hmm?" he smirked.

"I... you.. Kyle.." Kieran said confused as she looked and him with realization.

She was just a pawn in his game.

"You used me!" she cried.

"Come on, now don't say that. how will I use you? I made you," he smiled at her and Kiera turned and ran away with tears in her eyes. LYRA'S POV

"Aria, I cannot believe you did that," I said still feeling embarrassed about the way Aria walked in on me and Kyle.

"I didn't know you were with Kyle," Aria said.

"I really want to believe you but I cannot. The smug grin you had when you came in said it all. You did it intentionally," I glared at her. "C'mon now. I will do no such thing. Although I have to say, Kyle is so big. How did he fit?" she asked.

"Aria!" Merida Screamed with me.

"What I am genuinely curious and bothered for you my friend," Aria laughed.

"I really can't do this with you today," I shook my head and went to my room as Aria and Merida followed me.

"Your room really smells like sex. You guys were at it the entire night?" Merida said innocently and I turned to look at her and Aria.

"Both of you get out of my room now," I tried to say it seriously but there was a hit of laughter in my tone.

"What? I was just saying," Merida shrugged as she sat on my bed.

"Exactly," Aria copied.

"I will send you both out now. Stop talking about my sex life," I said to them.

"I just want to know one more thing," Aria said innocently but her eyes said otherwise.

"Aria don't you dare," I warned her and she made a zipping her lip motion and she stayed quiet.

"Okay so what are the remaining plans for the wedding?" I asked the event planner that happened to be the mother of the fae that Merida was hooking up with. "We just need to add extra lilies to the venue and that's it," she smiled at me.

"Thank you," I hugged her and walked back to the house with Aria and Merida.

"The woman hates me." Merida said for the hundredth time.

"No, she doesn't hate you. You know faes are extremely over protective of their children, so knowing you fucked her son wouldn't sit well with her," Aria shrugged.

"I don't get how you are so vulgar," Merida shook her head.

"Comes with the girl," Aria smiled and we laughed.

KYLE'S POV

I have tried to see Kiera on multiple occasions but she has been avoiding me and she hasn't been in the pack for the past week. It's five days to my wedding and I cannot have anything going wrong. I tried speaking to father but he has been on a business trip and at this point it is just frustrating. I can't help but feel like he is plotting something and it is making me feel really uneasy.

I need to find a way to get what he is plotting and try to salvage the situation.

"Hi babe," Lyra walked into my office.

"Hi sweetheart, I stood up to kiss her what are you up to?" I asked her.

"I was just checking in. I haven't seen you in a while and I thought I should see you. Are you alright? You look very stressed," she said as she sat on the couch in my office. "It's nothing really serious. I've just got a lot on my mind lately." I responded to her with a little smile.

"I think i....."

The alarm bells started ringing, the pack was under attack. I and Lyra rushed outside to see what was going on.

There was a marking with blood at the middle of the pack where everyone gathered.

It said "I WILL KILL YOU ALL!" so much for hiding it from the pack.

Everyone was already panicking as they wondered who sent the message.

I looked at Aria and Merida and they understood what I was trying to tell me.

"I think we need to tell her now," Merida said.

"How will she take it?" Aria said looking scared.

"We will just tell her as it is, everything will be fine," I said to Aria.

"You don't understand it is way complicated than you think, she will hate us. All of us," Aria said as she teared up.

"Is there something I don't know? What are you not telling me," I said as I looked between Aria and Merida, who looked at each other.

"We don't know the entire story ourselves but you might want to sit down for this one," Merida said to me as she led me to the chair.

"Please tell me what is going on, I am getting nervous," I said as they looked at me with pity.

"What the fuck!" I shouted suddenly resenting the man that can be called my father.

"How do we explain it to her," Aria said and tears flowed out of her eyes.

"We will figure something out. The both of you need to calm down," Merida said to us.

"If she finds out, she will hate us for the rest of her life. I cannot calm down. I don't think I will be able to bear it. I don't think I can't live if the woman I love hates me," I said to them.
