My body was sore and achy in a delicious sort of way. I had felt antsy and agitated , like I was stuck in my own skin. What better way to unwind than Enzo using my body , working me over and just getting what he wanted. Not that I mind it , infract I love it. He was so domineering in the bedroom , and he always brought me a f*****g ton of pleasure , so why wouldn’t I just let him take the lead? Walking back to the house , I kept catching him staring at me , so I would look at him then blush at the heat I still saw in his eyes. ” Your doing it again ” I said, laughing. ” Doing what ?” He was playing dumb. He knew exactly what he was doing.

“Looking at me like you could go all over again” I said shyly, not looking at him. But at the leaves on the ground as we walked. At least I was fully clothed , he wasn’t. So shouldn’t it be harder for me to hold back, not him? ” I could ” he states, ” I would never tire of you, I don’t think. Do you think you could die from having too much s*x , no breaks, just s*x after s*x after s*x , because if you can? I may need to warn my parents that if you accept me as a mate I could perish shortly after “. I looked up at him and he was smirking down at me.

Rolling my eyes at this playful side of Enzo , that I secretly loved. I mean I loved his bad boy persona , his jealous one. His angry one, as long as it wasn’t aimed at me , his sleepy one, f**k it, I loved all sides of him. I was about to tell him how stupid we were waiting to mate was when I heard a noise , looking towards the house. Rion stood on the porch , he was looking directly at us and his hands were on the rail. He had crushed the wood under his palm , the rail ruined and in bits under his flesh. Lifting his hand up, he gets rid of the wood in his grip and turns away from us. Walking off back into the house.

He had looked angry , the first time I had seen Rion look that way. And it was aimed at the fact he probably heard what we were saying , the scent of s*x must follow us badly. Was he jealous ? Rion seemed like the calmest level-headed wolf I had ever met , polite and curious. In the last three days now, the only time I had seen him get upset was when Sianna had told him we needed to confront the warlocks for her magic back. That was understandable , he had lost the love of his life to them.

” Looks like he’s starting to give a s**t about you. Why else would the man be jealous like that about us , who he knows are fated mates ? Him bowing out and letting us be together doesn’t look to be on the cards. I mean he had his mate , now he wants to take mine. f*****g prick ” Enzo said , his playfulness gone and his annoyed brudy self was back. He leans down and k****s my head. ” I’ll see you later little Wolf , I need to go to the change over of the patrols. That I didn’t do last night. Anyone could have got in and I’d have blamed you “. Pulling back, he was smiling at me again. With a playful wink he shifted. His wolf rubs up against me and I stroke his big head as he rubs it along my belly.

He had tried to lighten the mood again before he changed , but I could still feel his frustration through our bond. ” Go Enzo before you, dad blames me for keeping you from your duty. I loved last night. I miss you ” I bent down and whispered in the wolf’s ear. It’s big ears went back and then the wolf jumped me , like physically jumped me so my back was flat on the floor , the big wolf hovered over me. Then he started licking the hell out of my face. I squirmed and laughed , trying to block my face from its big tongue. “Enzo stop , Enzo, that gross stop it “, I laughed. After a couple of minutes, he let up and the wolf padded back. My face was drenched with drool. I narrowed my eyes at him. ” Not funny. I stink like dog drool now ” he growled playfully at me , probably for calling him a dog. ” Go before I lick your a*s “. I pointed back to the woods. He came forward, took one last swipe at my face with his tongue, then shot off into the woods.

” A*****E ” I shouted after him , but I couldn’t stop the big grin on my face as I stood up. I was using my tshirt to wipe the drrol off of me when I walked into the house. I found everyone sitting around the dining table eating breakfast except Rion. Abigail, my brother , Devon and Violet. Peter looked like he was ill , his face white as a sheet when he looked up at me. ” Peter, are you OK ?” I asked him and he didn’t answer. Devon, however, started belly laughing. ” He feels ill after having to listen to the promo that went on in the woods last night. Next time, you should both venture a little further into the woods. You kept the whole house up. You have a set of lungs on you, Anthea, that is for sure ” he laughed.

I looked at Peter, who actually looked like he was going to vomit. ” Grow up Peter, like I have not had to listen to you a bunch of times. We are we wolves, are we not ? We see people f*****g every day. ” Whoa ,where did that come from? ” Your my sister not any other wolf. And you f*****g stink ” he said, getting up and taking his plate grumpy. ” Hypocrite ” I, called after him. Abigail was trying not to smile as she followed him. And Devon was still laughing. Violet looked a little less amused. She looked more worried. ” Excuse me ” she said, getting up, giving me a small smile. Leaving me alone with Devon.

Devon watched as she left. “She is worried about Rion ” he said , his laughter dying. ” He had to listen to you two all night too ” he said, looking back at me. ” Enzo’s my mate “, I said defensively. He picks his fork up and shoves another mouthful in. ” I’m not judging. Just maybe just take it further away. I don’t mind listening to you guys turning me on “, he looks at me and winks, talking with his mouthful of food. It was a good job. Devon was amazingly handsome because that mouth would get him in trouble one day. He had no filter. ” Your trouble Devon” I said, walking off. I desperately needed a shower.

I was out of the shower , smelling fresh, clean clothes and was towel drying my hair when I opened my bedroom door to walk out. I jumped and screamed when I saw Rion there looking a little nervous. I had dropped my towel on the floor out of my hands. Rion quickly swooped down and picked it up. ” Sorry to scare you Anthea ” he said, holding onto the towel. ” It’s OK I just did’t know you was there ” I said, my heart still pounding. ” I could hear you were in the shower so I thought I would just wait until you came out. I just wanted to apologize for my behavior this morning. And I wanted to ask if you would take a walk with me , show me around the packs village and stuff ?” he looked at me hopefully.

” Ermmm sure yea , but I thought you didn’t want to be seen ? Keeping a low profile, “he smiled and shook his head. ” No. I can be seen. I just don’t want people knowing where we come from is all. Me and my sister mask our magic so we are all good ” . I held my hand out for the towel and he looked down. He must have forgotten he had it because he smiled sheepish, passing it back. ” Yea sure , let me just get some food and then we can go if you like. ” He nodded ” OK, ten minutes and then we will go. “

Ten minutes later, after I had shoved some of the left over food that was on the kitchen side. I found him out on the porch , sitting looking out. The Alpha’s new house had an amazing view. It had the woods to the side , the pack you had to walk behind the house and in that direction to get to. It was a little odd , having the house this way around. But the view made sense as to the why. It was the mountains in the distance. ” I envy this house ” I told him. He looks at me ” Why is that ?” Shrugging, I look out at the view. ” Out here they are close enough to the pack , but far enough away to just be them. I don’t do so well in public , for all the reasons you are about to see “, I tell him. ” And of course , waking up to that every morning would be amazing.”

” That is beautiful , but if you adore that, you should come see our land. You would never want to leave “. He walked down the steps. ” Come on I’ll tell you all about it on the walk into the pack village ” he smiled back at me. Long gone was the guy that broke the wood this morning and back was the charmingly handsome guy. I got a thrill run through me and it gave me gossebumps. Taking a deep breath, I walk after him and take his arm when he offers it me.
