Kiefer POV

Standing in front of my pack gate formally dress, a rose in my hand and behind me a horse carriage. Is a completely cheesy gesture I have ever done in my life. Even when I was with Marissa, I have never done anything like this before. I never had the desire to, but for my mate it is different. I want to make her happy and if doing corny romantic gestures like this is makes her happy, I will do it a thousand times

I glance at my watch wondering how long more she will come out. Some of the pack members passes me, some has questioning look, others look amuse, but they dare not say anything instead they greeted me.

“Alpha.” They said giving a slight bow of the head as submission and respect to their leader.

I glanced at my watch again, she should be her any second now. *I can sense her, why don’t you look up. * my wolf answer in my head. He is always on high alert whenever or mate is around. I did what he said looking straight a head off me and there I saw her, holding Jace arm as he escorts her.

My vision zone in on my mate, completely canceling out Jace in my view. My breath catches in my throat. She looks absolutely stunning, gorgeous more than ever. I should probably reward Lily and Kristy for doing such an amazing job. I thought.

I stood there admiring her as she gets closer toward me. our eyes connect and I felt lost in them. God I can not believe she is my mate, she looks so extra radiant. The dress she has on suit her and compliment her belly. I looked at her stomach for a second, feeling so proud that she is carrying my pups and soon will have then running around.

She now finally stood in front of me and she smiled. My god she is too beautiful. “You look Gorgeous.” I complimented returning her smile. She blushed.

“You too.” She replies staring at me in awe, I could tell that she was lost, and I smirked. She caught herself. “No! you’re not gorgeous. I ah mean you are not gorgeous, you look good. You’re handsome.” Her face turned red from feel embarrass and it did not help with Jace standing beside us snickering.

“it’s ok I can be Gorgeous too.”

She looks up at me and we both got lost in each other eyes.

“ah hem.” Jace cleared his throat. “I hate to ruin a moment like this but shouldn’t you two get going?”

“Right” I said coming out of my trance. I glance at my mate and he blushed. “Right this way.” I took her hand and helped her into the carriage. I also got on and the coachman for the carriage took off.

As the carriage took off my mate eyes wonder around excitedly in the carriage. “I can’t believe I am sitting in an actual carriage. It’s like a fairy tale.” She said excitedly her eyes sparkling like a little kid that got his favor thing.

I chuckle softly. “You like? I specifically hire this carriage for you.”

She blinked those beautiful long lashes eyes of her. “You did?” She asks surprise. “Oh my gosh Kiefer I- “

“Don’t say anything.” I cut in. “You are my mate and I wanted to do this for you. Lily told that you always dream of having a carriage ride, now you can.”

Blushing she turn he head and looked out the carriage. Then she looked back at me curiosity present in those innocent green eyes of hers. “where are we going?”

“You’ll see.” I said

She bit her l*p. “Why is it always a surprise?” she rolled her eyes and asks. I shrugged my shoulders. “Can I at least get a hint.” She begged her eyes pleading.

“I chuckle. “Ok we are going to a restaurant.” I said not giving any more information.

The light in her eyes dimmed and she pouted sticking out her red lips. I let out a low growl, I want to grab he and taste those lips and the way she’s sticking it out awaken my desire and my wolf’s. “No fair.” She complains.

“If you keep pouting like that, I’m going to pull you and k**s you and your lipstick will be smudge.” I said. Trying to control my wolf.

Opening her eyes wide she immediately stopped pouting and just glare at me. she sticks her tongue out at me. we remain silent for the rest of the ride enjoying the view outside. I paid to let the carriage take us around the park and then to our destination. We finally pull up in front the restaurant. I got out and assisted my mate out also. So, passer by stared at up but I did not care my main focus is my mate.

I manage to get her down from the carriage, finding her balance she looked up and gasp. “Oh my god Kiefer, La Belle restaurant. We are eating here. This is one of the most popular restaurants, it is hard to book a reservation even for celebrity. How on earth did you?”

“I know a friend of a friend that owes me a favor.” I smirk explaining. “Let’s go inside.” I took her hand in mines and lead her inside with me. we walked down the perfectly marble floor they were tables already filled with couples wining and dining. I glance at my mate and her eyes were looking around in amusement. I don’t blame her. Like she said La Bell is the most popular restaurant, even celebrity find it hard to make reservation. It is popular because of the out of this world food they server also and the inside is just too beautiful with crystal glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, the wall as white as snow and the comfortable white fur chair they have at each table. Soft smoothing piano music playing in the air. Thou we are not in Paris the restaurant gives of the air as if you are in Paris. My friend Mike who I helped before is best friend with the owner, he’s French. That’s why I could manage to get reservation here.
