Episode 40

I had asked mom and dad if I could come and get the 10-person Pontoon boat to take to Lake Havasu with some of my friends. I omitted that some of my friends were going to be women, as one of those women, Ashley, was one that they can’t stand when I asked to borrow the boat. I kind of implied that they were all Alphas from other packs. My parents were always gracious and didn’t mind me getting it taken out on the lake. I had already told Ashley that I would pick her up at the Guards shack at the gate when I went to leave, and she had hurried off to grab her bag and get to the gate. I know that none of the Guards would be informing my parents, as they don’t want to piss off the soon-to-be Alpha. I was going to use one of the SUVs from the garage to pull it as I couldn’t pull it with my Audi RS5 Sportback, I don’t want anything to happen to my car. I can hear several motorcycles coming up the drive as I complete hooking up the pontoon on the trailer, I raise up to see who had arrived at the packhouse.

I see 6 Ducati’s coming up the driveway with Mason’s new truck behind them pulling an empty bike hauler. I see my brother Dixon’s and Braxton’s bikes in the group and start heading over to them to see who they were with. I really need to get out on a ride with them when I come back to return the pontoon. I nod and wave at Mason as I head over to the group.

“Hey, guys,” I tell them as I approach, “When I bring the pontoon back do you two want to take a ride with me like old times?”

“Maybe, if we have time to” Braxton replies and Dixon shrugs a shoulder but doesn’t respond, and I know I am going to have to build my relationship back up with both Braxton and Dixon.

“Let’s get the bikes loaded guy’s so we can get headed out first thing” I hear a soothing female voice speak out suddenly from behind me and I then smell a sweet musky scent, and I am scared to turn around and see her. We can’t look each other in the eyes, or I won’t stand a chance against the mate pull.

I see Brax and Dixon looking at me funny as I say a quick “Bye” and walk quickly to the SUV keeping my back to her, getting into the truck without looking her way. I start the SUV and pull away with the Pontoon, glad that I already had everything hooked up and secured before they got here.

Brax and Dixon look at each other, and then back at the SUV heading down the driveway. They were both wondering what had gotten into Asher.

“I want to get packed up as soon as possible and if we can get it all loaded up now, we can get on the road early tomorrow morning and be able to have a full day on the Lake”. They g***n playfully at me. “I know I am annoying, it’s just this will be my first trip to a lake, and my first Vacation. I’m just excited. I am sorry for being bossy,” Jade tells us.

We quickly load Tyler’s, Tate’s, and Travis’ bikes onto the trailer behind my brother’s Jeep. We load my, Brax’s, and Dixon’s bikes onto the trailer behind Mason’s truck. We will be storing duffle bags and supplies, cases of water, cases of Gatorade, sodas, beer, snacks, and chips into the back of the Jeeps and any large items like the coolers and suitcases, into the back of Mason’s truck. He got a tri-fold Tonneau cover on the back of his truck so anything stored in there can be kept safe and secure. Tyler will be driving and will take Tate, Travis, and Dixon with him in their Jeep. I will be driving the girls (Me, Bree, Nicole, and Jessica in mine and Brax and Mason will be coming in Mason’s truck. They got off for the week and all training is canceled. They rarely get to take off and since Bryan is there now as the new Gamma, Alpha Andrew said that they could both come with us, especially since his teenagers are going on this trip too.

I am probably the most excited about taking this trip. We rented a 6-room, and 4 bath rental house there, and it has got an awesome pool in the backyard that overlooks a large area of the Lake. We all chipped in and shared the rental fee, but only Mason and Brax will be getting rooms by themselves. The rest of us are sharing two to a room. My dad said we could use the pontoon boat that he took down and rented a slip for at the marina, and I had already made plans to do some free site-seeing while we are there, with the London Bridge and the numerous lighthouses both being on my list of things to do and see.

This is my first vacation, my family at Howling Wolf never really took one with me, they would do a few weekends out of town usually on holidays, but since I had to work, I couldn’t go with them. Especially since they “Uninvited me” by telling me the morning of the day that they were leaving, so I couldn’t trade with someone else, to be able to come with them. It was ok, the last 2 years I would just invite Nicole and Jessica over and we would have sleepovers and they would leave about 5 pm the day that they would be coming back. I smile thinking about Nicole and Jessica, they were truly great friends, and I was so thankful I had them in my life. Lately, though Bree and I had been pretty getting close too, I trust her completely even though she is my newest friend. She always takes up for me and I know she would fight for me I saw it when she came to get me when I was cornered in the bathroom at school by Brittany and her pack of morons. I no longer need her to fight my battles, but I still avoid Brittany and her group, because they aren’t worth me getting suspended or anything going on my school record for. I just plan on avoiding her for the next 2 months until we graduate.

The girls and I had gone to the mall to shop last weekend and dad had insisted on giving me the same allowance that the boys get which is $1,000 a month, for gas, clothes, shoes, and whatever comes up I have not used it much since I got it, so I had almost $2,500 in there, I have only been using it for gas for my bike and Jeep. Now that I am at the size I want to stay at, I am just going into maintenance mode so I can eat a little more, and occasionally splurge, and since I enjoy working out, it shouldn’t be hard to stay here. I decided that I would go ahead and get a full wardrobe, and I doubled every pair of jeans that looked good on me. I will be taking 4 pairs of them to Dark Moon along with shirts dress, shoes, and bathing suits, as dad has a large pool area, complete with a covered area to eat outside and comfortable padded deck chairs to layout on. I also have some cute workout clothes I ordered online I got my favorite outfit that is an ombre beautiful teal green down to lilac in a racerback tank, and the matching pants that go from lilac at the waist and down to the teal color again, one for both packs, because it is my favorite workout out to wear. I also got some cute crisscross sports bras and capris, some loose flowy tanks to go over them for modesty, and some cute biker shorts for when it gets really hot in the Summer.

I ordered a total of 5 bathing suits, and this was the tricky part. I kept them all with me as I knew I would be going through them this week and didn’t want to have to keep wearing the same bathing suits. Bree and Nicole talked me in to get my bikinis online with them and when I balked Bree told me “Jade, honestly you are in better shape than any of us”. I went to argue with her, and she held up her hand to stop me and continued on, “You look like a swimsuit model, you look fantastic. You have exercised up to 4 hours a day and watched everything single thing that you ate for over 2 and a half months. You look FANTASTIC! Trust me, you need to get over this because it is ALL in your head. I know it is hard to change a mindset, but we” and she points to herself, Nicole, and Jessica, “would never lie to you. We are going to have a blast. Let’s get you in some cute swimsuits and see if we can’t all meet our mates this week at the Lake”. We then made our orders as you have a much bigger selection online to find something you like, not too many swimsuits to look at in the local store. They had come on Monday, and we washed them and got them packed away. I am glad I had also ordered a sheer coverup, one black tie at the waist skirt and one of my bikinis had come with a see-through, flowy skirt that ties around the waist and goes to the floor, It had a ruffle that went down the sides of the skirt and the tied bow at the waist was just so feminine and cute that I just couldn’t resist, the bikini top had the same cute little ruffles attached to the spaghetti straps as the skirt and the outfit was in a marble pattern with greys (from light to very dark greys) and lilac being the base color in it. It was my favorite of all my suits, although there was more cleavage exposed in this suit, than the other ones. It had a high leg cut to it and more of my butt was showing, but thanks to all the work Mason had shown me in the gym my butt was my third best feature to me, right behind my eyes and my chest. Thankfully I was still a 36 C, so I still had a chest after all the weight loss. I hope I look ok this trip. I know that they are my friends and my brother’s, and no one would be mean to me in our group, I just didn’t want to get embarrassed in front of strangers, it is not our group that I worry about.

No, no negative thoughts, I look fine in all my suits, and I tried each one of them on and modeled them one at a time for Bree, Nicole, and Jessica and they said I looked like a model now. So, no more doubts, this week is all about fun, and we were going to have a blast.
