Rejected, My Jaded Love
Episode 62

I cannot believe what I am hearing. The girls had gone swimming with Jeremy, so it was quiet on the lower deck and Kyle just gets up suddenly and goes up to the upper deck where Eric was hanging out. I just kept laying still like I was asleep, and I just heard their whole disgusting plan. I cannot believe that they would do that to Jade. She was such a sweet and kind girl, and for them to want to r**e her made me want to throw up. Everything that Eric had said about me being different was correct. Losing the girl that the Goddess had given to me, had changed me, and not in a good way. I wanted to accept Jade, I wanted to be with her and have a family together, but I had made a mistake a few years earlier by sleeping with Sophia when she approached me, and I couldn’t get rid of her. She insisted on us being together no matter what I did. She actually had been given a true mate, a warrior in our pack, but she had rejected him, “for me” she said. But I never asked her to, I had always told her when I found my mate, I wanted to be with her, not realizing that Sophia was never going to let me do that.

When I discovered that Jade was my mate, I tried to avoid her for the first 24 hours, so no one else knew that she was my mate, to try to keep her safe. I had told Eric that following night, to try to figure a way out from being with Sophia, and he informed the rest of the group. Sophia told me that if I didn’t reject Jade that she would kill her. I believed her when she said it, as she was way over the top when it came to me, and she was malicious, I knew Jade could be seriously hurt, or killed if Sophia lost it on her. Sophia knew how to fight, her warrior mate had trained her, just to be able to spend some time with her. and I believed that she even slept with him several times, as they were mates, and that is a crazy pull. Jade wouldn’t be able to protect herself against Sophia, and I already knew that Danica would be jumping in to “help” Sophia as she was still angry about Eric taking Jade out to dinner and then catching Eric kissing Jade in his truck. Eric had told me that the girls had wanted to film me rejecting her, I didn’t agree to it, and I never saw a camera come out. I am just glad that it was my back to the camera, as it was breaking my heart to reject her. I did continue to sleep with Sophia, but she always started it, and I just didn’t care anymore. I just wanted to get it over with Sophia and be left alone again, if I couldn’t have my true mate, I didn’t want anyone. I knew when she accepted the rejection and it felt like my heart was torn out of my chest that this must have been what Jade felt when I rejected her. I didn’t realize that she felt it every time Sophia and I slept together, but with the look on Sophia’s face, she totally did and that was probably why she kept initiating it. Sophia is a hateful, vindictive person and I no longer wanted to be with her, in fact after how they tricked me into rejecting Jade, I no longer wanted to be a member of this pack. They were terrible people. Every single one of them, none had a redeeming value to them.

Eric was right, at the Sandbar, I was so upset, they kept grabbing Jade and I could tell by how Kyle and Eric both were with her, that they wanted her, physically. The marks Kyle left on her waist were driving my wolf crazy to protect her, but I couldn’t Sophia would have attacked her and hurt her worse than they were. I stepped back from the group to try to maintain control of my wolf, but when I saw how Eric was pushing himself into Jade, I lost it. Thankfully the three guys from her group came up and took care of Eric, Kyle, and Jeremy before I could get to her and help her. I didn’t want to help any of my packmates, as they were all wrong in my opinion and it might have given our pack the upper hand, as I am the best fighter in our pack. They should never have touched Jade, and I didn’t want them getting their nasty hands on her ever again.

But now that I heard the disgusting things that those two want to do to Jade. I cannot let this happen. I know she blocked us all from her cell phone number, and then changed phones because I tried to reach out to her on several occasions to apologize to her and ask her to accept me taking back my rejection, that I did love her and that I wanted her, but I got no response. I am panicking now because I don’t know what to do, I have to warn her, or someone in her group, of the danger that Jade is in. I will NOT allow Eric or Kyle to touch her. I need to figure out how to protect her since I haven’t been successful previously with doing that. Kyle comes back down from the upper deck, and I lean up from my prone position as if he had startled me with the noise he made, and seeing me upright he nods at me. I nod back at him and lay back down on the bench seat at the front of the pontoon boat to sun again and act like I am going back to sleep. I don’t want him to know I heard everything, and I have to act normally with them as them knowing that I know, could make them even more reckless than they are already behaving.

I got it! Nicole! I try to keep the smile from my face when I finally figured out a way to let Jade know that she was really in danger. I believe that I still have Nicole’s number in my phone from when she was in the pack. No one messaged her, so she probably didn’t change her phone out for a new one or have to get another number. As soon as we dock, I will offer to go get food for the group, and I will reach out and contact Nicole. I have to make sure that no one gets to Jade and hurts her. I am ok with her having a second chance mate. In fact, I am very glad that she has someone to love and protect her. Asher is a very strong wolf and I know that he will keep her safe. Her whole group loves her and from seeing what happened on the sandbar, I know every single one of them would protect her. I just need to stay relaxed and chill right now so I can put my plan into motion. We had a good day out on the lake and even went to the sandbar to hang out again. I think Eric goes there to see if he can find Jade again, but I know she would never come back to the sandbar, especially alone. We come into the marina and secure the boat for the night.

As we head home and the girls start complaining about being exhausted, I offer to go grab some pizzas for us all. Everyone is quick to agree with me and I head off to the pizza place to make the order, instead of phoning it is, as that would lose me precious time on my phone to warn Nicole. I order five pizzas for us, as each of us guys can eat a whole large pizza and order the girls one for them to share.

I text Nicole because I don’t want her to block my number if I called her outright. I told her that it was me and that Jade was in danger. I am praying that she will take it serious enough to text me back, if she doesn’t, I have no idea how I will be able to warn Jade and her group of what is about to happen.

“What do you mean Jade is in danger” Nicole texts back.

“I just overheard Eric and Kyle talking on the boat when we were on the lake today,” I reply back. “Someone met Danica and Sophia at the Marina and wants Jade to be brought back to our pack, forever”. I text Nicole back.

My phone rings 20 seconds later and a guy I have never spoken with is on the line asking, “What the hell are you talking about?”.

“I was on the pontoon with my group and the girls mentioned meeting someone named Ashley at the Marina, who wants Jade taken from either your rental house or Stone Moon when you go back there. She said she followed someone and now knows where your rental house is, but that if Eric couldn’t get it done this soon, she would sneak them onto Stone Moon pack lands, to take Jade back to Howling Wolf. That is not the worst of it, Eric told Kyle that he would be forcing her to allow him to mark and mate him by threatening to kill Jade’s second chance mate, Asher Morris”. I told them, and there was dead silence on the other end of the line.

“How do we know that this isn’t a trap, or a set-up, on your part?” the man finally says.

“It broke my heart to reject Jade, I was set up and pressured into it. I wanted to claim her, and I can’t bear to see her hurt. Eric and Kyle are planning on grabbing her, and Eric even told Kyle that after he sleeps with her, he will allow Kyle to sleep with her too. They don’t care that she hates them both, that is what they are planning on doing”. I tell them and hear several indrawn breaths and I now know that I am on speakerphone.
