Rejected, My Jaded Love
Episode 64

We pick up some pizzas ourselves to take back home for dinner, so we can all sit together and think up a plan of action for tonight.

“He had a LOT of correct information, and how could he have just made-up Ashley’s name? Braxton said to the group.

“I agree, that is why I offered him the open Gammas spot. I believe him, and what he told us”. Tyler said and grabbed another piece of pizza.

“It could be a trap, they may have just seen me with her earlier in the week and this all could just be trying to set Jade, or me, up. If we take Jade out tonight, they may try to get her there. I don’t know if I fully trust him in this.” Asher says.

I turn to look at Asher and say, “Or you just don’t trust that your precious Ashley is devious and conniving enough to have set this up, even with knowing that she could be banished from the pack. I completely believe Calvin is telling the truth with what he said”. I say to them all. I am trying to stay calm, but Asher taking her side in this is getting me really upset.

“Well, I agree with Tyler and Jade, it is pretty simple, we need to take Mason’s truck, it can seat six, has a dark tint, and they don’t know his vehicle. They have seen the Jeeps and motorcycles, and Ashley will know Asher’s SUV. We part across the street from where they are supposed to meet and see what happens”. Tate says to the group.

“I agree, if Ashley shows up and meets with them, and certainly if she brings them here, that is damning evidence that she set this whole thing up. She does want Jade gone and don’t forget she wanted to make sure Jade never left Howling Wolf again. She condemned Jade to live a horrible life, she may not have known what Eric and Kyle completely planned to do to her, but I bet if she did know, she would still be 100% on board with it, just to get rid of Jade”. Dixon says.

“I don’t think that Jade should come with us, I believe that she will be safer here, some of us can go, but some of the guys need to stay here to protect her from them just in case they try to get her tonight”. Asher says to the group.

“To protect me, or to keep me from seeing your Ex set me up when she meets up with Eric and Kyle?” I ask Asher.

“We don’t know that she did that yet. She is innocent until proven guilty. You are already condemning her, and you don’t even know that she did it yet”. Asher tells me.

“So, I guess Calvin just pulled Ashley’s name out of his a*s, right? Just a super correct guess on his part?” I ask Asher. I am shaking now. I thought we were past this, but we aren’t, how could he take her side over mine? I am his mate.

“We will go and check it out tonight. I think you are safer here than out there. Can you just stay here, for your own safety, please, Jade? I don’t know if this could be a set-up or not and I won’t risk your safety for anything”. Asher tells me.

“We won’t know if we don’t go, how about this. As I feel like they will need to see me exiting a vehicle and coming inside this house to make them realize that this is exactly where I am staying. I will ride with Mason in his truck. Along with Braxton, Tyler, Tate, and Travis for us to go see if this is a valid threat. If it is, that is fine, we will then make plans to go forward from there”. I say to Asher.

I am already making plans in my head. Because it sure seems like Asher is convinced that Ashley is innocent in setting me up to be kidnapped when the rest of us all know that she has done this. Plans for me to go to my family’s pack, Dark Moon, and stay there. To just finish my schooling online and email my homework to the high school, so I don’t have to deal with Ashley and Brittany anymore. To go ahead and go to M.I.T. like I originally planned, or better yet another quality school that Asher doesn’t know about.

“Where am I going to be?” Asher asks me.

“You don’t have to go, Asher, it is only 2 of them coming, but even if they all showed up, we will be able to handle it ourselves, as there are 6 of us too. Actually, we would outnumber them as Calvin is their best fighter and he is with us now” I say and look around the table at the guys, who are all nodding at me because they are reading me loud and clear and probably know that I am done now. I told Asher I was giving him one chance, and not to break my heart, but I can hardly speak right now, I am trying to keep from crying.

“You have an SUV, you should use it to park at another location so you can see for yourself what is going on and not have to take our word, or Calvin’s word for it either,” I say, and I get up and excuse myself to the bathroom.

“Jade, wait up, I would like to talk to you,” Asher says as he follows me to the bathroom.

“You have said enough for today, Asher. I need to go use the restroom now please”. I tell him and walk into the bathroom.

I slip into the bathroom and turn on the faucet to cover the sounds of me crying. I know what I have to do, and I hate having to leave my friends, but I can’t stay here a day longer. I will be packing tonight after we get back. I will be storing my bike on the back of my trailer and taking it and my Jeep back to the Dark Moon pack. Dixon and Braxton can either ride their bikes back to Stone Moon pack themselves, or I can take them on the trailer, and when Bree or Nicole come in their cars to visit me at Dark Moon, they can drive Dixon and Brax over as well, and they can then bring their bikes back with them then. But what I DO know is tomorrow morning at 5, I will be headed out and to my dad’s pack. I will have dad or Luna Monica contact the school for me concerning me finishing up from Dark Moon, with turning my homework in via email or for them to test me over a zoom meeting so they can see me doing my work, but I already have enough credits right now to graduate so I am not worried about it right now. This has not been a great first vacation, I have dealt with a lot this week, and right now I just want it to be over. I mind link Bree and Nicole to meet me in mine and Bree’s room. They are heading up the hallway when I see Asher step into the hallway behind them to speak to me after he heard the bathroom door open.

“Asher, maybe you can give her some time. This has been a tough week and the hits just keep coming. Let us talk to her tonight and you can talk to her later on tonight after you go see if that slut Ashley set her up, or tomorrow morning even. I am sure everyone will be upset after you all see Ashley meet up with Eric and Kyle. I myself don’t need to go as I am fully aware that skank did exactly what Calvin said she did, and I don’t need a visual like you apparently do to prove it. So just give her some space right now while Nicole and I speak to her. Ok. Thank you!” Bree says and turns to come down the hallway and enter our room & shut the door behind her.

“I already know you are leaving, Jade, you don’t even have to say the words. He screwed up, we all heard him be willing to think that it was Calvin at fault, instead of Ashley’s. I knew as soon as you gave the lineup for Mason’s truck when we could get all the guys, you and Asher in the SUV what was going to happen. I agree with you. I am assuming that you are going to your dad’s pack, right? With your brother’s?” Bree says gently to me.

I nod and try to keep the tears at bay. “Yes”, I said, “I will see about getting my homework turned in through email and to take my tests via Zoom and then come back for graduation. That way I don’t have to run into Ashley or Brittany again. I did tell him one chance, I don’t know why he can’t see her for what she is, but I am not going to let Asher burrow into my heart any further than he already has. He has hurt me. Why does he care more for her, than his own mate? I just can’t understand that. I am blocking him out right now. Maybe I can get it under control by the time we get to our graduation in May. But I want you both and Jessica to visit me at Dad’s pack. He has a nice pool and lounge area, and a covered picnic area with tables and a fireplace. I still want to get to see you guys, but I can only come there when I know Asher isn’t there, and with him 30 minutes away, he could get there quicker than I could know he is coming and leave. So, for the next little bit, or until he has picked another girl that he wants to make his Luna and has moved on, I would rather meet there, instead of at Stone Moon”. I tell them.

“I understand honey. I will get you packed up tonight while you guys are gone. Don’t worry about anything. Just know that Dixon, mom, and I will be giving Asher hell every time we see him. For someone who is so smart, he really says some stupid stuff. I don’t know why he can’t see the same thing that we do. I am also going to get a hold of dad and let him know what is going on, so Dixon can reach out when he sees Ashley’s stupid a*s meeting those assholes at the convenience store. We have got your back” Bree says and we all hug.
