Episode 70

“She doesn’t feel safe anymore. She was pretty broken up about the k********g attempt, she was shaking and crying, and I have never seen her like that. She is sad and broken right now, and she wasn’t ever this bad with Calvin and that rejection. You didn’t realize it at the time that you said it, but you basically called Jade a liar for believing Calvin over Ashley and denied that Ashley would do such a thing. You never even realized what you said, but we all heard it, Asher, you verbally defended Ashley, who basically handed your mate over to bad people to do bad things to her, just to get rid of her. You told Jade that Ashley was innocent until proven guilty. I tried to tell you, I gave you hint’s and you wouldn’t take them. I don’t know if you can fix it now. You asked for one chance, and she gave it to you, not because you deserved it, but because she loved you and wanted to be with you. Then you step on her heart by not accepting what Ashley did. When WE all knew that she had done it. Ashley has messed with Jade over and over, several times before you tried to Alpha command her, and that in fact didn’t work. I don’t really know where your head is at Asher, but Jade is not coming back for a while. She will be coming back for Graduation, she will walk across the stage for that, then she will be going back to the Dark Moon pack again. Jade told me to tell you to just go get back with Ashley, as that is obviously where your heart lies, she won’t stop you from finding another girl and making her Luna.

“She did NOT say that to you, Bree. I will not believe that she said that” Asher tells Bree.

“You can call her and ask Asher. If I, were you, I would send her a text and apologize, but the problem is you told Jade that she was your number one priority, and then showed her she wasn’t by standing up for and defending Ashley, instead of Jade, I don’t know what is going to happen, but believe me when I say that right now, Jade is done. Tyler is already got the ball rolling with going to war with the Howling Wolf pack. He said that we are in as well to help them out as well. But you need to work on your words, Asher. Things have always come easy to you, you never had to try with girl’s they either wanted you for your position, or your body. Jade loved you, your flawed self. She was bonded to you by the Goddess, and I swear you just kept f*****g up right and left. We can’t even defend you to her, and we all heard it, and you said it wrong. It seemed like you wanted to keep her from going to prove that Ashley did it, and then YOU said Ashley was innocent until proven guilty. Jade said that you would be able to find someone else to be Luna. You set the bar with that one too, letting her know that she wasn’t good enough because she was overweight. She let a LOT of things that she personally had problems with go to give you an actual chance. She eye-witnessed you let Ashley k**s you, and didn’t really shove her away, you knew she was your mate and just ignored her. You literally stood next to her and then ran to leave and get away from Jade, yet still managed to stop and get that slut on the way out of the pack. You have been fast and lose sleeping with a lot of other girls and then felt proud that you could prove Ashley wrong about being pregnant, and you might not have been able to do that if Mom hadn’t helped you. Jade kept herself for her mate, Calvin rejected her regardless despite him saying that he didn’t want to, he did it. But you are all over the place sleeping around and she mentioned to me that she could very well lose her virginity to you, and end up with an STD for it, right out of the gate. She was scared, but she still gave you more of a chance, than you ever gave her. Just do me a favor Asher, if you can’t keep it in your pants long enough for you to convince Jade that she means the MOST to you. Then let me know and Dixon and I will come to Dark Moon too so you can reject her, and we can help comfort her through it. Jade didn’t want to deal with Ashley and Brittany anymore. She didn’t want to see you start bringing other girls around to hurt her some more. She knew with you supporting Ashley, that she couldn’t depend on you to protect or defend her. She will be staying at Dark Moon. Asher, I am not trying to be mean, but you need to decide here. Do you want Jade, or not, because I am going to tell you there are a lot of guys interested in her? She feels like she is a failure that no one wants because both of her mates didn’t want her. One of these guys IS going to catch her eye. Calvin IS at Dark Moon. He will be the Gamma there. Tyler already trusts him, and he saved Jade from those two idiots. Calvin still wants Jade. I can see it when he looks at her. You need to get your head on straight SOONER rather than later. If you wait too long and don’t clear this up to crystal clear and soon, you might lose your mate to someone who will love and protect her AND make her feel like she is the most important thing to them, and then the next time you see her, it will be to accept HER rejection, to you”.

“I will not be giving Jade up Bree. I love her. I messed up. I will not reject her though, she is mine. I will get her back. I will prove to her that I love her more than anyone else. I will not accept her rejection” I tell Jade.

“It isn’t me that you need to convince, it is Jade. I spoke with Tyler and Mason, we all three believe that you love her, we also believe that you screwed up when you were talking about what Ashley had done. You were defending Ashley and yes, you were trying to keep Jade from going out, and I believe that was more for Jade’s protection than keeping her from seeing Ashley there. But the words you used, were all wrong. You need to get that straightened out ASAP. Get mom and dad to help you, they love Jade but get it straight, and soon Asher, or I have a really bad feeling that it is going to be too late if you drag your feet.” Bree breaks the mind link and I sit there thinking.

I cannot believe what a horrible mess that I have made, to hear Bree put it all out there, I am the worst mate anyone could ask for. I do care very much for Jade. I want her to be happy. I exit the house and put the key back under the mat and re-lock the front door and turn to leave. I guess I am going to cut my break short too. Nothing is keeping me here anymore. I go to my hotel and check out. I go to the marina and get the pontoon to take back to Stone Moon with me. I feel like my strength has been taken from me like I am weak and defeated. I get the boat hooked up and secured and start off to Stone Moon. I am in my head, and I don’t know what to do. Wait, yes, I do. I pull over to the next rest area and get my phone out.

“I am sorry I didn’t express myself correctly yesterday. You are my only priority. I am sorry you left, but I do want you. YOU are MY Luna. I only want you. I don’t want anyone else, but you. Please give me time to prove that to you. Please don’t reject me. Have faith in me, I will prove to you that we have a love that I am willing to fight for”. I send the text off and put my phone up. I know she is driving and won’t check her phone until she gets back to her dad’s pack. I hate that I have no idea when she will be back to Stone Moon.

I will have to get with Bree and see if maybe I can go to visit Jade one of these weekends when she goes to visit Jade, maybe she would like to ride motorcycles with me again. I liked it when I got to use Travis’ bike and rode with her yesterday to go to the Pizza place. It seems like it has been forever since I saw her. I miss her terribly already. I don’t know how I am going to go on with this ache inside my chest. I know that the only thing that will make it go away is for Jade to come back to me. Nothing else will help me, I just don’t care about anything anymore. Jade hurting is breaking my heart too. I head home and mind link my dad that I need to talk to him and mom when I get home. I end the link and just drive back home.
