Episode 94

Tyler’s Perspective

We are on our way home now. We dropped the Stone Moon pack off a little after 3 pm. We will be back in our pack a little after 5 pm, so just in time for dinner. Asher was going to deal with Ashley and then he said that he was thinking about coming to see Jade if I thought it was ok. I had mind-linked mom and dad to ask them what they thought of Asher coming over, and they agreed that it would be good for her to see him. They can tell that she misses him as it is hard to be away from your mate for long periods of time. Also, she will probably still worry about him even though we told her that he was ok until she can verify for herself that he wasn’t hurt.

We aren’t going to tell her though, so it can be a surprise for her when he gets there. Mason and Braxton are still with us, as Mason’s truck is still in our pack as they are still on vacation for Spring Break. It is so hard to believe that it has been a week since we rode to the Howling Wolf pack with Jade for her to accept Calvin’s rejection. A lot has happened in a week. I am so glad that Jade doesn’t have anything else to worry about as all of her tormentors, and those who allowed them to torment her, have been taken care of.

I am glad everything went as smoothly as it did. The group made in-depth plans, and it was a successful day. I know we have only been gone for 14 hours, but this has been a long and stressful day and I am glad it is over with. I was so glad when we finally got back to our pack lands. It is so good to be back home. I am excited to see my family, have a good meal, and get a good night’s sleep because I didn’t get much sleep last night.

Asher’s Perspective

I am glad to be back at Stone Moon. I mind-linked my dad and told him that I was 10 minutes out before we got here because I wanted him and my Uncle Bryan, who is our Gamma, to meet me at the cells to help take care of Ashley. They were bringing two warriors with them, just in case. I had dad dip a knife in wolfsbane and I was going to be the one to complete Ashley’s sentence. I got to thinking about all the problems that she caused Jade in the short amount of time that she knew her. The bullying that she had her sister do at school to Jade, kissing me on the boat when I was staring at Jade as it was the first time that I got to see my mate, telling Jade that she was pregnant with my child and the absolute worst going around my Alpha Command and showing Eric where Jade was staying so he could try to kidnap her and take her back to the Howling Wolf pack.

By the time we got back to the Stone Moon pack, I was really angry and ready to finish this, as Ashley was the last one that would want to bring Jade harm. I hugged my father and my uncle before we headed down to the cells.

“Oh, thank the Goddess you are here Asher”, Ashley called out when she saw me and ran over to the bars. “Please stop this madness, I love you and I would be a wonderful Luna. Just choose me and we can lead this pack together.”

“Ashley, we are not together. We will never be together. You were found guilty of colluding against your Luna and have been sentenced to death. That is why I am here. Your sentence is going to be carried out now”, I told her.

“Alpha Andrew, please talk some sense into Asher. I didn’t do anything wrong. Everything that I did, was because of how much I love you, Asher. That was the only reason why. You know me, you have known me my whole life. Asher is too emotional about Jade and isn’t making a good decision. Please help me, Alpha Andrew,” Ashley cried out to my father.

“Ashley, you made your own sentence when you plotted against your Luna. You knew she was your Luna and still caused problems for both her and Asher. You committed treason against this pack and with what you did, you deserve more than what you are getting. I think you should be tortured for all the problems that you have caused them. I am not pleased with you trying to play innocent in this Ashley. You have been trying to get a higher rank mate for years now, and you doing that exact thing is what caused the original problem to begin with Ashley. You were flirting with her brothers and trying to get a date with Tyler. You don’t love Asher, you never have, you just want the position” Alpha Andrew tells Ashley.

Ashley pales and backs up from the cell bars. She thought she could talk or flirt her way out of it, but she realized that she wouldn’t be able to do it.

Asher carefully takes the knife dipped in wolfsbane from his father and enters the cell. He walks quickly over to Ashley and stabs her in the heart. It was still a mercy killing. The wolfsbane will work quickly and keep her from trying to heal up. She passes quickly, and it was more than she deserved for all the trouble that she has caused and the pack laws she broke trying to kill the Luna.

I go up to my room to take a shower and get fresh clothes on, even though I wanted to hit the road right now to go see Jade. I didn’t want to show up dirty, especially if I had b***d on my clothes. I pack a bag for two days in case she allows me to stay at Dark Moon until Sunday with my brother and sister, and I head out to my car.

Jade’s Perspective

I was so excited about seeing the guys. Dixon told me that they would be back in about 10 minutes. I will be glad to see everyone and make sure that they are ok. I know Tyler said that they were all ok, but until I see them, I still worry. I hope Asher is really ok too. I love him so much, and I know that they said he was ok, but I need to see him and make sure for myself that he is ok. We all gathered for dinner at the table, but Tyler said that they wanted to go grab showers real quick before we ate, so we were all sitting around the table talking as we waited for them to come down, but they were taking like 20 minutes to get ready. I heard the doorbell sound and we all looked at each other, wondering who was at the door. I heard Tyler coming down the stairs calling out that he would go to the door. I heard Tate coming down the stairs behind him, so I guess they knew who it was because they came down together as soon as the doorbell rang. Obviously, whoever it is, is supposed to be here, as they couldn’t even come onto the property without authorization to be here. I am talking to Bree when she looks over and grins and motions her head towards the door, so I turn around and see Tyler and Tate coming back into the room, with Asher walking in behind them. I cannot stop the smile that spreads across my face, and I make a small sound in my throat before I get up and run over to him. I have missed him so much. I have had time to speak to both my mom, Joy and Luna Monica, who both assured me that any man can say something that was right in their head but comes out wrong to us. They also mentioned that I should give Asher a chance, as he does love me and wants to be with me. I am glad to do that as I want the same thing, but I am not just going to jump into his arms without first being positive that he has changed, for good. I have fallen for things before, and I am not so willing to do that again. He is going to have to wait for me to be ready to accept this mate bond with him, and he needs to show me that I matter enough to him to stay on the straight and narrow. I have already decided that I want to wait until we both graduate from school; High School for me, and Alpha Training for him.

I was so excited to see him though and I quickly checked him for injuries. I can’t believe that no one was hurt by doing this. I gave him a hug and then a k**s, which lasted longer than I intended. I was just going to make it a quick k**s, but once our lips met, that was it for me, until I heard a throat clear and my brother Tate says “Um, Asher is not on the menu for dinner tonight, Jade”, making me blush furiously. I bring him to the table, and he sits on the other side of me for dinner.
