As time went by I realised

Friends don't stay

They're only there for a certain time.

Awaiting for the time of their departure

Making way for the next set

To take the ladder and climb

They'll first have to gain your trust

Fix what's broken

And recover what's lost

Of course happiness is a definite must

A glum looking one

Is never fun

After all that's done

They turn into leeches

Snakes if prefer

Sucking information

Taking all the pieces

One by one

Not leaving anything out

The time you start to question

Is the time they act gracious

After getting everything out

They departure

And everything suddenly turns darker

Friends are okay

You just have to stay awake

And watch how they behave
