Ted turned to her, looking a bit puzzled. Gloria got up and said to him, "Mr. Maguire, you are a rare visitor here. Please have a meal before leaving."

"Ha, you haven't recovered yet. Maybe some other time. Your aunt is still waiting for me at home. I told her that I'll be home tonight for dinner. You two can go to my place whenever you are free." Nydia smiled and replied, "Sure thing. We won't keep you longer. We should get together sometime."

Ted touched her head fondly. "Nydia, learn from Gloria. Don't waste your time for nothing."

"I'm really hard working now!" Nydia said in a proud voice while raising her arm to flex her muscles. "Look at my arm. I'm Gloria's bodyguard and nanny!"

Ted couldn't help breaking out into laughter and shook his head with resignation. "Way to go! I'm hitting the road. You two go to bed early."

"OK. Mr. Maguire, drive safe."

Ted didn't say anything and left.

There were only Gloria and Nydia left in the room. Nydia gazed at Gloria with her bright, innocent eyes, and said, "Congratulations, Gloria! You can finally take back the White Group!" Gloria curved her lips into a faint smile. "Not yet. There are a lot of things waiting for me."

"Alas! What a pity that you are injured. Or I'll have you cook some good food for me, Nately, and Bryson. We can have a big celebration!"
