The family had enjoyed the theme park for the entire afternoon, trying out various rides such as the carousel, pirate ship, dinosaur park, bumper cars, and some high-altitude rides not suitable for Annie, like the elevator, meteor swing, and roller coaster. Adam's favorite part was when the family of three sat in a small compartment and slowly ascended the Ferris wheel, overlooking the beautiful scenery of Hulo City.

In the late afternoon, not only was Annie happy, but Katie's mood had also improved significantly.

It was serene and warm, making people wish time could stand still.

Adam frowned and asked, "What's going on?"

Adam said, "You shouldn't go for such things. Take Annie upstairs to wash up."

"Can you handle it yourself?" Katie asked anxiously.

Adam smiled and reassured, "Don't worry, it shouldn't be a big deal."

After hesitating for two seconds, Katie said, "Be careful yourself, and if it gets too bad, call the police."

Adam nodded and left the hotel.

Fannie's eyes lit up, and she immediately caught up, saying, "I have a car; I can take you there."

Adam replied coldly, "No need, don't follow me."

With that, Adam got into a taxi and drove away.

Fannie stomped her foot in frustration, but her curiosity led her to drive and follow him without hesitation.
